I live close to the S 1st location so I go there a lot. Hands town my favorite taco spot in Austin. Tacos are delicious, service is quick, staff is super friendly, and it’s affordable. What more could you ask for?!

El Tacorrido has consistently delivered delicious, quality tortas over the past few years! The "tortas de hongo" (mushroom tortas) are the bomb (and I'm not even a vegetarian)! They really know what they're doing. You will not be disappointed!

Wow! Breakfast tacos all day and DELICIOUS! Lattes were pretty good, too. Got chicken tacos for the kids for lunch and they devoured them and asked me where we got them so we can go back! Aesthetically, you are like um maybe not. Your mind chsnges when you get the friendly greet at the window or walk up. Then you taste the food and it is a game changer.

THE PASTOR TACOS & MEAT BY POUND IS THE BY FAR THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD....and yes I yelled all of that!!! Lol.....also, try the El Equinox (horchata & espresso) it is as close to a perfect coffee drink as u can get....
Here's my honest review. I ordered a chicken quesadilla with light cheese.
And here's why I gave it only 4 stars.
And I rarely rate anyting under 5 stars, only because I always give businesses where I spend my money the benefit of the doubt that maybe my situation was a blooper of some sort.
But
Very flavorful food, really great value (meat by the pound ,1lb = at least 8-10 tacos with all the fixings) service can be a little slow during peak hours but the food is always on point and worth the short wait.
Love the pozole!!! Usually its full of meats and corn, but today there was no corn whatsoever and that made me really sad :( just broth and meat.
Breakfast tacos are great, ordered a horchata with an espresso shot (bc I saw good reviews abt it) and it's AWESOME. They call it 'El Equinox.' Potato egg and cheese taco was delicious, I also ordered a bean and cheese. Only issue was they put egg in my bean and cheese. But it was still a great taco
