Got my first timer's regular (sausage, egg & cheese). It was loaded! I could have easily made two tacos out of one. For ~$3, the value is there. While everything was fresh, it just lacked that little seasoning that would take it to the next level. I added their red salsa to it, which was so spicy it completely dominated every other element. This place was jamming at 9:30 on a Friday, so it definitely has a loyal following. For me - like it, don't love it.

I have been coming to Ken's since I was a child and have always loved their huge breakfast tacos (Bacon, Sausage, Egg, Potato, Cheese; I load it up lol) and biscuits and gravy! They have never failed to deliver! Their prices have ALWAYS been affordable too. A local favorite and hidden gem!

I'm ambiguous about writing this review but I will have to because it's one of my favorite places. The air conditioning is not that good and sometimes the dining room is not as clean as it could be but one becomes completely oblivious to these things as soon as they see the plate of fish tacos in front of them. These are absolutely the best fish tacos I've had anywhere in the US and when you make it into a taco plate it's even better. I really haven't tried anything else on the menu so I'll have to let others speak of those items. But I'm here to tell you the fish tacos are pretty darn good. I'll suggest trying both the red and the green sauce.

Came here with a friend that has wanted to try it out for the past year and it satisfied in every way. Great chicken fajitas and cheese enchiladas. They have three people up front taking the orders so that you can order pretty quickly. The food came out pretty quick and was excellent.

Big breakfast tacos. This place is known for its oversized breakfast tacos. 2 is enough for the road, but if you are hungry, try pushing down 3.
Parking is a hustle especially if you are in a rush, but if you have time, wait someone will come out, or just park across the street.

This place has a very quaint diner vibe to it! The food was also very good and offered for an amazing price. It has many ways to customize their tacos, and a group order deal which could honestly feed up to 4 people. Definitely want to come back to try other items!

The food was really good and fresh, we had the beef cheesesteak sandwich and beef fajitas. It was a little warm in there but that's understandable, pretty busy place. Also, the salsas are amazing!

This place has been an Austin tex mex staple for me for 15 years. The breakfast tacos are perhaps the best value in Austin. Crispy beef tacos are near as good as places that charge twice as much. Closes early so breakfast and lunch are it. Worth the extra drive.

The food was quite good, and you get a lot for your money, but I wanted to add barbacoa to my omelette, and they wouldn’t do it. So I got a taco and just put it in there myself.
However, their omelette also was just meat folded into eggs, so it fell apart as I was trying to eat it.

I've been a Ken's customer since the late 1990's. Nothing much has changed since then. Even the prices have remained reasonable amid Austin's boom (and recent bust with the pandemic). The food is always delicious, plentiful and high quality. Their cheese steaks are second to none and all the different Mexican food offerings are fantastic and usually more than you can eat. The attached pics are not truly representative of how great Ken's really is. You must experience it for yourself. Ken and his staff know what they're doing and they do it right!

Breakfast tacos here are practically burritos! Ken’s Tacos is as traditional as it gets and you can garuantee their quality will be the same every time you visit.
10/10 would recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.

I ordered tripa, cabeza, and asada taco. All of them are very flavorful. The green salsa is refreshing but the red one is quite hot.
