Review Im Thai Cuisisne - Austin

Food was incredible!! I wanted to steal my friends fried rice soo bad after having a taste of it, hahah! And my curry was so exquisite, very creamy. Atmosphere was beautiful, super tranquil. And of course the service was great, both very kind ladies!

LUV Thai Cuisine is our new favorite Thai restaurant in Austin. Food is not overly spicy and very well seasoned (you can request hot, or get a side of their Thai hot pepper flakes to spice it up!). We read the recent reviews and ordered the Yellow Curry, Shrimp Pad Thai and the Pad Pak stir fry. All were delicious! Serving size was generous and we were able the share and still have some to take home. Lots of jumbo shrimp on the Shrimp Pad Thai. See pictures and short video for current hours, menus, food, and dining room. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Austin!

This place Wowed me! I have had several dozen Thai places in my life and this Chicken Pad Thai was one of the best! I love the atmosphere of this establishment as well, it feels very comfortable and authentic. Could not be happier with the food and the service.

The music was annoying. The dishes are not tastful. The restroom was not clean. This restaurant is at best, a fast food place. You would only go here if nothing else was around for miles. The reason for the 4 stars is because the waitress was trying her best to be nice and it was sincere. Otherwise it deserves a one star.

Luv Thai Cuisine filled my Thai craving with the Pad Thai and brussel sprouts as well as the shrimp fried rice. Big portions and great flavor. My order was ready when I arrived, friendly staff.

I cannot express how much I have loved this little restaurant from the moment I moved to the neighborhood. It’s a quiet little spot and the decor is homey and comfortable. The service is always great, the staff is incredibly kind and the owner has one of those smiles that lights up the room and has welcomed us back every time she is there. We’ve been regulars here for a year, we take our friends here and the food never disappoints. If you want a legit Thai place with the *best* Thai Tea in town, do not miss this absolute gem of an establishment. We’re so grateful for our favorite comfort food restaurant. Thank you for being amazing, Luv Thai!

I absolutely love the food here. It is a cute, comfy and quaint place with a wonderful staff. I love the freshness of their food and beer. I have tried many plates and they have all been spectacular. They haven’t failed me once. The sprig and fried rolls are great. Mad food. I congratulate the chef.

This place has been a favorite of mine for a long time. I really think their Tom Ka soup is the best I’ve had in Austin, and the service is excellent! Also try their Thai coffee and crispy fried egg rolls! I will keep coming back here for sure!!

We like the satay, Tom Yum and yellow curry here, the mango sticky rice is a perfect finishing of our meal, great food.

This has been our go to Thai place for the last 2 years. Chicken pad thai, egg rolls, edamame, and fried rice is our favorite. Their Thai tea is great too!

Luv Thai has one of the very best yellow curry in Austin. It is my go to option for when I am craving thai yellow curry. The consistency and portion of their dishes is tremendously appreciated. A must try gem. For a safe mild spicy, a level 2 spicy will hit the spot. If you want anything spicier, oh, believe it can get spicier.

The couches are in high demand come early and snag one. Springs roles were really good but instead of the served sauce if the peanut butter was presented, it would have been a home run! Some kind of sparkling water would be nice as well but they refilled my water quite frequently. I think on everything I ordered the egg roles and dipping sauce was my fav. Don’t get me wrong the green curry with chicken was good. The portion size wasn’t massive. No one likes be wasteful.

Excellent food and service! Red curry is tasty and self service soup and salad starter is also excellent. Hopefully will be back again soon Easy to find and lots of parking For me this is the most authentic Thai food that I've come across in Austin.

Absolutely love it! Had an incredible experience and closed the place down one night with my friend Vianca. We kept ordering stuff 😂 btw they dont have Boba anymore. Those posts are from 4 years ago and the menu has changed. The food is amazing and the staff so friendly so make a trip over there now.

Solid Thai option in S Austin. Really enjoyed the Pad Thai. The Musman Curry had a bit too much ginger for my liking, the fresh spring rolls were phenomenal. Will come again.

Excellent curry - artful presentation, very fresh, nicely spiced. The place is sparse but pretty, with a little outdoor patio space and big windows. For all that, this is strip-mall Thai, and the windows and patio both serve up a view of endless parking lot. While the service is slower than you'd expect from a joint like this one, the food more than makes up for it.

This establishment serves great tasting rice and stir fry dishes, but that's about it. The restaurant wasn't even packed when we dined there, and the service was still bad. Drinks were forgotten, not much attention was given.. Just dissatisfying all around. The restaurant is spacious and nice looking, and its in a great location off Brodie Lane. Kind of unfortunate, but I have no interest in dining there again.

Best Thai food in Austin. And everywhere else.

Such a friendly local restaurant. I have never been disappointed in their great food. But also what draws me back over and over again is the friendly welcoming staff and atmosphere. Often I am a single diner, and this is a comfortable place to enjoy my lunch out.

I'm from north of Thailand, I love their koa soy curry noodles. The best in town.

IM Thai = Awesome. I worked in a Thai kitchen for quite some time. I was immediately enamoured with IM Thai's food. Fresh crisp flavors, not dumbed down for Americans. Great food at an extremely fair price. The spring rolls are artful. You can tell a lot of care and love go into their dishes. I'm spreading the word.

I'm obsessed with trying pad Thai and always try out different places. I ran into this place and it didn't dissapoint! The pad Thai was delicious, my father lived it as well

Definitely one of my favorites! All of the waiters are very friendly and helpful, and the resaurant is clean and pleasant. Their prices are great because you get a good amount of food. Anything on the menu is good.

Legit.... Alot of asian food places serve togo portions that are large enough to share. this one probably is too, but is a little smaller than the average takeout portion. it's tasty though, we'll be back for sure.

Very tasty. Will be back.

Amazing! Ingredients are super fresh. The stay was the best ever! Huge chunks of white meat chicken. Never thought I would say this , but better than Titaya's.

Thai Tara's sister restaurant is just as delicious! Fresh, flavorful, and fast.

Super duper thai. This is the best thai I've ever had. Period. The moment you enter the restaurant there is no odor. Good or bad. I find it good for a asian restaurant. The place looks very clean. The customer service is very good too. Seems like they make it a point to communicate with you.
We started with the chicken satay appetizer. Great execution. A dozen small pieces of chicken marinated in a green sauce and some pickles and peanut dip on the side. Awesome tastes.
We then ordered a 'Kai Soi' with chicken (noodles in curry) and a whole white bass seamed with chili-lime sauce. The bass was fantastic. Great clean flavors and felt like I am eating in a gourmet restaurant. The noodle was great too. Very bold flavors and ample portion sizes. The prices are very reasonable too.
We are defintely going back there.
Just remeber, BYOB.

BEST Service and Tasty Food To Boot!. IM Thai Cuisine is a great destination for lunch. It's in the vicinity of my office so I often end up there with colleagues for lunch. Joel, a waiter there, is the aboslutel tops when it comes to service. Here's one example of an experience my friend and i had with him. Imagine this, it was the rainiest or rainy days in Austin. A total terenchal downpour transpired as we sat inside and enjoyed a delightful yellow curry with rice. Alas, the rain would end and we joked with our fine waiter, Joel, that we would stay put until the skies closed again. It didn't happen and ultimately, we needed leave. Joel came to our rescue carrying a huge patio umbrella and galantly escorted us to our car; without a trace of rain ever touching finely quaffed hair. We heart Joel and IM Thai Cuisine. The call to action for anyone reading this review? Go there...rain or shine.

Love this place.. When I discovered that the wonderful people of Thai Tara moved over to this new creation, I was the happiest girl in the world. The place didn't seem to skip a beat -- and the Kai Soi continues to be my favorite dish. Staff is super friendly and will remember you. And for now, it's BYOB!

Delicious peanut sauce! We ordered a bunch of appetizers and they were fresh and tasty. Tofu dishes were good. Even the side salad came with Tofu!
Victor Castillo
I had the paradise shrimp and spring rolls. Both light and tasty. Definately going back.

Really good fresh food. If you're thinking about going to madam mam's, try this instead. It's right down the street and worth the detour. We ordered take out: a curry dish and a stir fried noodle dish. They were both excellent. Not greasy. Good flavor. Fresh ingredients. I'm really happy to have them in the n'hood.

Great food. My husband loves spicy Thai, but I'm a bit more mild. They have both. Happy harmony. Very friendly waitstaff. We really like this little local restaurant.
