Went to Trudy’s for lunch on a Thursday wasn’t busy at all, the staff was very friendly and helpful with the menu. Overall the food was typical and as expected. Just had a taco salad which was what you would expect, the stuff avocado was just ok. The queso and salsas were good. Got a side of mash and Mexican corn. The mash was pretty good and the corn seems abit mushy. It is a nice place to just hang out and grab a drink though.

This is like a restaurant bar that claims to be a Mexican restaurant. It's a large area, I think it even has a second floor. The food was good, I had the chicken stuffed with chorizo, kind of a staple in this part of Texas. I came in the late afternoon, so I was there for Happy Hour, $5 margaritas. It wasn't too busy, but I would imagine it gets busy during peak hours. Worth a shot, if you want something local.

Okay so I’m like super excited to say I had a great experience here at this location, everyone is so nice and kind. Rome, one of the servers is so funny, reminds me of donkey from shrek the movie..looks and all (definitely left a GREAT tip!). The manager..the bald guy, was astronomically great too.

Another classic Tex-Mex spot that is generally solid on food quality and taste. My experience with the margaritas has been hit-and-miss these days. I usually order the flaquities when here for drinks. The rolled fried flour tortillas, stuffed with shredded chicken are the best. Flaquities are great for sharing with large groups or one on one dates.

Amazing house Mexican martini’s in shakers. Great bartenders. Food is very consistent. It would be nice to see a new dish here and there.

Went to enjoy some margaritas with my sister & had a very pleasant experience! The drinks were great & food was delicious! Our bartender Dakota was very knowledgeable & had great drink suggestions! Sometimes bartenders are cold & distracted , but Dakota was very friendly & attentive which made it all the more pleasant, definitely recommend 10/10

Had small queso then Trudy’s Cheesesteak Quesadilla and it was great.

The food was very good, I had chicken fajitas and they’re a little different because the come with some zucchini, peppers, onions. They were tasty. Not too saucy, and marinated just right. The tortillas were good. Chips and salsa not bad. Nice restaurant overall. The house margarita was good but I thought I saw a pic somewhere of it in a big metal cup with salt on the rim. Mine was in a normal glass. Otherwise it seemed like the menu had a lot of options. I rated 4 stars because there are a few places I’ve had that are better in my opinion but this is worth going!

My wife and I stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. There is plenty of parking out front of this Northern Austin location. The restaurant was not terribly busy, and so we were seated promptly. We enjoyed the cheese enchiladas and a side of guacamole. They provide free chips and salsa both red and green. Very tasty! Our guacamole was a generous portion, if not inexpensive. The enchilada plates were very tasty and come with delicious thick corn tortillas made on premises. The service was very good! (A rarity nowadays..) Total bill was $35.72 before tip and included two soft drinks. Adult beverages are available. Seating is extensive with two levels.

Cool atmosphere inside or a nice patio with lots of seating. Excellent food and the drinks are just as good, especially the Mexican martinis. The shrimp enchiladas and shrimp tacos were very good. My go to spot up north!

Great food, great cocktails, and great service! My group dined on the outdoor patio which offered plenty of shade for a late lunch. The interior of this restaurant is really nice and I noticed a 2nd full bar upstairs. Everyone liked the food and drink. Our server was wonderful!

Very upscale Tex Mex. Very busy on a Friday night but it only took 15 minutes to seat a party of 9 with a baby. Very clean. Very noisy. The person who took our order was very kind and so was everyone else. Unfortunately all of our orders were not what we ordered. Bits and pieces missing. We did tell them and they brought out the right things. For a restaurant in Texas this food was inauthentic. I could have had better versions in any other state. I had the queso cheese dip a side salad and some rice and got food poisoning. I actually had to go into the kitchen to request drink refills as no one ever checked on us after we were served. The place is beautiful and again the people are very pleasant but please revise your menu to reflect authentic Tex Mex food.

but, my god it’s amazing! Can’t wait to be in the Austin area again so I can enjoy another meal at Trudy’s.
