Vivo Modern Texmex - Austin - Photo album

Pretty impressed with this place. Only draw back is it is pretty dark atmosphere inside. The waiter (Oscar) was super helpful and attentive. The chips and salsa are on point. The cocktails ( we had more than pictured 😏) were tasty. My fajita tacos were delicious and my wife loved her street taco
Delicious food. We got the calabacitas and puffy tacos with tofu. The corn tortillas are good. We got Victoria beer for an authentic Mexican experience. And a margarita for a Tex-Mex one. The chips and salsa was also good. The chips were light and fluffy. It’s nice to have a Tex-Mex place with vega
Good for the price you pay. Pretty affordable options available. I went in on a Sunday for brunch, but their happy hours prices during weekdays looked super great and prices were amazing. Menu is pretty much all Tex Mex, the only thing I didn’t really like were the refried and charro beans, but besi
I highly recommend making a reservation. I ordered the burger, which was delicious. Pricey, so bring your credit card or two.
The chips and salsa were really good. My two margaritas were decent. The platter was solid, and the queso was average.
Fantastic tex-mex operation, great food, service and libations. I also like the patio. There was a bit of a wait but it was worth it. The atmosphere is a little loud for conversation, but overall, I would recommend and return. The addition of flowers in the margaritas was a nice extra touch that hel
KILLER SPOT! Have been living in the area for over a year and had not even considered this place as an option. What a fool I was! We were craving Mexican (noticed the Tex-Mex direction) but it’s definitely more Mex than Tex (70/30). In terms of the physical space, it’s nothing special and a little
Their chips and salsa are good! Have never been disappointed with the food, although I wish they offered black beans. Staff is polite and friendly. It's local, plenty of parking, and a quaint environment with added space on the patio.
Back when this place was on Manor road it was definitely the place to go to bring out of town company. Beautiful location, great food and drinks. Moving to the Linc I was skeptical but hopeful that it would still be great, and thankfully I was not disappointed. Really nice touches with the decor and
Great margaritas. Very strong. Puffy tacos. OK. Ground beef was very odd.
Local for us, food is consistently good. House cocktails are nice as well. We would like a larger bar area for more social atmosphere, but space doesn’t allow. Expanded patio is nice for lunch, although we did experience (to no fault of VIVO’s) the absolutely rudest table neighbors on the last pati
So far my favorite chips and salsa place! The food and the drinks are great as well and reasonably priced. I got the four mini tacos and they were great when you put the sauce on them. There are a good amount of margarita options and they taste amazing! Highly recommend the margaritas here.
My vegetarian enchiladas were excellent. I had originally ordered the mushroom and spinach, but they had run out of spinach and called me immediately to suggest other alternatives. I had asked them to add my avocado into the enchilada...that I usually have on the side and they were gracious enough
Everything was so good! Lighting was a little lower than I'd like for a dinner but other than that it was a great visit and I will definitely be back!
The food is delicious. They have fantastic corn tortillas. I had the puffy tacos with shredded chicken and would order those again. Margaritas are excellent. The only negative is the restaurant’s air conditioning is not sufficient and it was uncomfortably warm and it was that way the last time I
Delicious meal. Appreciate being able to make a reservation. Atmosphere is lovely. My favorite hot sauce in town. Puffy guacamole tacos and cheese enchiladas are outstanding.
