Review Pho Please - Austin

More pho please! This is a casual, open concept, self-service Vietnamese Restaurant that serves extraordinary and flavorful food. The portions were robust and all food was seasoned perfectly. I was surprised there were no sizes, so I ordered extra noodles. That ended up being an entire second helping. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. There is a condiment bar which carried my favorite pickled jalapenos and green onion/cilantro. They don't have bean sprouts there unfortunately. The only caveat is the extra egg roll was small and overpriced at $2. The vermicelli needed more fish sauce but was still incredibly delicious. Flavor 5/5 Atmosphere 5/5 Service 5/5 Value 5/5

Great ambiance and plenty of options to choose from including vegan/vegetarian options. Small bites, Bao, Pho, etc. We got the shrimp bao and vegan pho and they were delicious. Price was reasonable and staff is friendly. Highly recommend!

We pick up our order at least one time per week. I this time ordered the salad with lemongrass shrimp and a fried egg. For me, this is enough for 3 meals. We also get the shrimp only spring rolls. My partner orders the Pho Please and loves it. All of this was +/-$40. The food is very consistent and clean. I have never had a bad dining experience from ordering take out.

Bun bo Hue was awesome with generous portion of meat and chả( meatloaf). The broth í just right, not too salty. The vegan pho was very good too, the veggie broth smells good and is as attractive as the beef broth. Good portion for the noodles overall. The phin coffee was a fun experience. The grilled pork rice roll doesn't go with peanut sauce at all, so i had to ask for a small fish sauce. The marinated of the pork is a bit off and I would recommend rolling the roll a bit tighter so that all the food won't fall out after you've taken a bite. Will come back for the Bun Bo Hue tho!

Wow! Was passing through Austin and decided to give this place a go. I ordered the rare beef pho (pho tai). As soon as I tasted the broth, I immediately noticed the deep, meaty flavor that is quite uncommon at most Vietnamese spots. This, coupled with the soft, succulent pieces of beef, rounded out an amazing bowl of pho. Prices were reasonable too. If you live in Austin, take of advantage of this gem. Highly recommended!

First timer! Food was great and I am very impressed with their selections of meats. They have like benches to sit on and the seating is really not that comfortable but the food and pricing makes up for it. Good Pho 🍜 and nice location

I've been a regular at this delightful Vietnamese restaurant for quite some time now, and I must say, it never fails to impress. Their pho is simply exquisite, with a rich and flavorful broth that always hits the spot. And the tea, oh, it's a perfect complement to the meal, soothing and refreshing. Today was an exceptionally heartwarming experience. As my family and I enjoyed our meal, the owner surprised us with an unexpected act of generosity—a free meal. It truly made our day, and we felt incredibly blessed by their kindness and hospitality. This restaurant not only serves incredible food but also has a heartwarming atmosphere that keeps us coming back. Highly recommended! 🍜🍵😊

Overall really good! Recommend! Just wish the baby ribs didn’t have so much fat on it, barely any meet.

First time here and the food was amazing!! I couldn't finish it all. Everything was fresh! I love the Mango fruit tea! My sandwich was so good too! Definitely gotta come back 🙌🏾

I LOVE this place! Not only is the Pho one of the best in town, everything on their menu is exceptional. My husband and I have been going here for years, and they never disappoint, always consistent. As everyone knows, good food is not the only thing that makes a restaurant great, so does service. Pho Please service is excellent! They know their menu very well, and are very honest.

Came to eat here several years ago with my son David the chef , like it then and now it was another pleasant experience I had Bahn mi chicken sandwich and my younger son Jp had a meat rice and veg plate with soup included. along 2 more sandwiches to go . Special thank you to our wonderful server Zane who was kind and speedy with our order. I am handicapped and sometimes when I go to some restaurants they don't want to take care of me, but Zane was great . We will be back .

This is my favorite neighborhood pho spot in town. The chicken broth is my absolute favorite, it is SO flavorful and delicious. This is my go to spot for takeout, and the interior is also super cute. Every single thing I've ever ordered has been delicious. You can tell the food quality is very good. The staff is always very kind and welcoming. I highly recommend pho please!!!

Great pho, great portions, great ingredients. The preparation was fast, and everything tasted good even with take out. I liked the bean sprouts! The soup was bland and not super rich. I had better bowls of pho and this one didn’t blow my mind. Perhaps, having it in store would have been better. Price was good! Recommended and will come back for the other dishes!

The best pho I've had. Being an avid eater I'd say I have had alot of pho. This one tastes like the broth is more meaty and less of the traditional cinnamon spice mixture. The grilled pork rolls are delicious as well. Food comes out freakishly fast.

Great place to get Vietnamese food. The portions are humongous and they even have a challenge of a HUGE bowl that if finished within an hour without throwing up, you aren’t charged the $50 it costs. The bun Bo hue is good, the pho is good and their salads/grill options come with a good amount of your protein of choice. Only critique is that their pho broth could have a bit more flavor. Overall, still very good for Vietnamese in the Austin area.

Delicious broth!! In both the beef pho and the chicken pho Crab rangoon tasted like cream cheese, no crab at all in the filling. Not good

1st time customer. I had rare steak and brisket pho, great food and serving size was perfect for me (6'4" 200#). Date had veg pho, same experience, she's not 200# though = leftovers the next day. Also ordered the veg egg rolls, yum! The recipe for the dish was great but, my favorite part was that I could load up at the veggy bar! Meaning extra jalapenos, cilantro, green onions and red onions! It's never spicy enough for me so the extra veggies gives Pho Please the edge and earns a return customer. The food biz is tough and there is a lot of competition here in Austin, all these five star ratings aren't easy... nice job, Pho!

Awesome place wish there was a Pho Please in San Antonio. Looks like I will have to continue my 2 hr drive one way for the best Pho in the State of Texas.

The food was delicious. The bowl of soup was huge and filled all the way with noodles and meat. I had the seafood pho and loved it. Overall, we'll worth the money.

I stopped here after work on the way to my hotel after having sort of an off day. One of those days that's not bad, really, just...off. Banh mi sandwiches are one of my favorite comfort foods, so I stopped to get a chicken banh mi, along with an appetizer and an iced Vietnamese coffee. The woman at the counter was so nice, the food came out fast, and it was such a great experience. The Vietnamese coffee was great. Was the sandwich the greatest banh mi I've ever had? No, but it was still a solid sandwich, just not the best ever. Will I be back? Absolutely. The service alone was worth a repeat visit, and the sandwich was good too.

First experience. I'm visiting my daughter and she told me about the restaurant. Great atmosphere, I had the steak n brisket I believe and it was scrumptious. Also had the crab ragoons, not as good as back in NY state but good. I would defiantly eat there again and would recommend the Pho experience.

Great job, Pho Please! I stopped by today and had your Pho Please bowl of pho, grilled chicken spring rolls, and pork belly bao. Everything was delicious! My friends and I are pleased with our first time experience and will definitely be back.

There's literally nothing not to like about Pho Please. I've eaten most of the menu and it's all delicious.

While I am in love with the grilled pork Bahn Mi, their Egg Drop Soup takes me to my happy place!!!

The Porkshop is soooo tasty! The servers are very warm and just nice! Just an advice though, after you eat - make sure to get up quickly because there’s a lot of people wanting to sit and eat too! :)

I HIGHLY recommend this place! The food is so fresh. The service is great! Pork Bahn Mi, please!

I'm usually pretty picky about Vietnamese food but this place is pretty good, even my parents approved of it.
