Kome - Austin - Photo album

It has been a long time since I’ve been to a restaurant where the staff cared about making the experience the best possible. The server was incredibly personable and the staff give you a big welcome when you come in. You can always judge a sushi restaurant by its miso soup. The soup was incredibly
Beautiful restaurant with nice interior. I came here around 5:30pm on a weekday and there were still a couple of tables but it was getting crowded. We ordered the karage, the trio roll and the crunchy deluxe. The chicken karage was delicious, crunchy, tender on the inside. The rolls were very good,
Absolutely awesome! As someone who lived in Japan for years, I felt like I was back there. The food and atmosphere are authentic and wonderful. We sat at the sushi bar, and the staff and chefs were phenomenal, very friendly, and even chatted in Japanese with us. The yuzu sake cocktail was great 👍
I went for lunch today, happy with my sushi lunch set. It was fresh cut, my friend ordered sushi lunch set with crunchy - more rolls than maki option. Thankfully, miso soup was alright, not too salty like other places I have been to. Another friend of mine ordered yaki something don buri and veggie
When I was visiting, Austin decided to go to this Japanese restaurant based on browsing and ratings on Google. I would really like to find a good place for the bento box. It turned out to be a wonderful experience. Everything from the beginning to the end, the staff, the food, and the ambiance was w
Long time ago, i had a bad experience with some so, was afraid to go back again. I ordered some nigiri and appetizers! And it was sooo good! Friendly services and quick delivery to the table. Clean and fresh! 😋 See you later~~ Some more update: - they are not close btw lunch and dinner time. You c
First time. Our food was fresh and delicious. We had the Austin Roll, Spooky Roll and Surf & Turf Roll. Ena, our server was very sweet and attentive. Even when a big party sat in her section, she made sure we were taken care of. The whole staff in general were really friendly, about 4 people bid us
Wonderful sushi place on airport blvd where construction seems to always be happening. Very welcoming vibes from all the kitchen staff whenever customers enter and our server was so attentive and amazing! She gave us great lunch recommendations and even brought out an extra mochi dessert when I drop
Kome definitely has one of the best bento lunches I’ve had in Austin. It’s a bit pricier but the bento comes with a lot of unique side dishes along with a small portion of a signature roll. It was super filling and delicious. I was really surprised at how smooth their nigiri tastes and I would love
Been expensive but worth every cent Yakitori is very tender and on the mark Sashimi…ummm, okay, but hot as good as what haru sushi got Fried kaki and fish are a must order.
Food, service, atmosphere everything was great! I got an Austin fc roll which was on the super secret menu, very tasty! The udon came with a very tiny quail egg. Beautiful plating.
Got the Texas surf n turf roll and it was probably my favorite sushi roll I have ever had! Definitely will be coming back for that. We also tried the summertime roll, it seemed to lack flavor, but still good. The servers were very friendly and quick.
10/10 what a unique flavorscape they provide with each menu option. I was really taken back by the layers of complex flavors they managed to achieve in a simple tonkatsu ramen. It's beautiful inside, the pricing is excellent and friendly service. This is a must must must. I would definitely recommen
Recently, we decided to visit Kome. Even though it was a workday, the place was bustling with diners, a testament to its popularity. Make sure to book a reservation, as there's likely to be a line! The atmosphere was both comfortable and casual, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed dining experien
Great food! Try the udon noodles. They were super spicy and the karage chicken was equally delicious. Though might have longer waiting times.
Had a great Komé experience! Was able to try a plethora of things. My favorites were the rolls here , and typically I like nigiri the best. The spicy tuna roll and the tarantula roll were so good. The miso soup was also so good! I would come back but probably wouldn’t get the nigiri flight agai
We recently had a dinner at this fantastic sushi restaurant and was thoroughly impressed with the wide selection of classical sushi, onigiri, and signature rolls available. As an appetizer, we ordered the yakitori, which was delicious. The meat was juicy and perfectly marinated in a flavorful sauce,

The staff is friendly and shows great hospitality. The kitchen area is also super clean. My sushi and cold ramen are also fantastic. You can ask for pickled ginger and wasabi to eat along with sashimi and sushi. There are also couple Japanese sakes to choose.
