Uncle Julio's Fine Mexican Food - Austin - Photo album

We were recommend highly to check out this location for a must see for local food. We got the baked salmon and (3) Enchiladas. I've never had Enchiladas before, we don't really have them in Canada. I figured it was a great time to experience some local and cultural cuisine. The service for starter
The food is the average Tex-Mex, that will give it a three star rating, what makes it a four is the piñata dessert and the service. Our waitress was on point doing the refills and attentive to any questions we had. I will recommend and I will come back whenever I visit Austin again.
Loved it! We came for the chocolate pinata which is a MUST. The food was really good and the service was even better. Our server was Nisa and she took excellent care of our large party. We will definitely be back! Thanks UJ for a great dining experience.
Sometimes you need to have Mexican food and there is no options close to you what do you do? Uncle Julio’s is there to meet your crave of Mexican food. Staff are really good and friendly and they serve you to enjoy your moment plus it’s very convenient especially for peeps that working in Downtown,
Pretty good chain restaurant. It’s a bit on the pricey side for Tex-mex, but the menu features unique items like the chocolate piñata. We were promptly seated before closing time. The servers were very kind and patient despite us coming an hour before closing. The best part is the complimentary chip
Some friends and I visited this restaurant while in town for a convention. Our whole group loved this place. From the drinks, to the chips and Queso Blanco, down to our entrees (I had "Juanitas Platter"), everything was great. The service was a bit slow, but I believe that was due to how many people
Fantastic food and service. The house made chips and salsa are amazing. I order the Chipotle chicken fajitas which were delicious, and comes with bacon. Great flavor and the house made flour tortillas we're great.
Probably one of our favorite after work places for a relaxing dinner with delicious guac and amazing food. The hand squeezed lemonades and margaritas are to die for. If you come at the right time of day, you can even see someone hard at work in a open tortilla making setup.
Great dinner option. Drinks and staff were great. Service was quick and in on point. Food tasted delicious and was fresh. Chips and salsa were good.
Great food. We went there 3 out of 4 nights we stayed in downtown. Food is freshly made and delicious!
We had a large group and our waitress was fabulous. We had several different foods for everyone to take a taste of and everything was delicious. However, there is one food that I do not like and that is quesadillas. Do you know what my favorite thing was here? Their pulled chicken quesadillas. They
This is my favorite downtown Mexican restaurant. I love the fresh tableside guacamole prepared right in front of you. You get to pick all your addons. The bar menu has a fresh fruit drink that does not disappoint me every time I go. Service is great too!
Pretty good spot. I've eaten here plenty. Great tortillas. Decent guaq. Really good fajitas and steak soft tacos. Cheese enchiladas are subpar. Salsa is good but not great. Tortilla chips are thin like I like em but a little greasy sometimes. The hard tacos are fair. The taco salad is massive and go
Their margaritas are some of the best in Texas. And don't forget to order their signature Chocolate Pinata - it's the most fun you will ever have craking open a ball chocolate with fruit, berries, and mini churos spilling out.
Excellent service and excellent food. I am unsure about the sourcing but it sure tasted fresh. The atmosphere is lively and festive and gets very loud. The margherita are great too, with a large selection of Tequilas.
Great food and near the convention center. The fajita and the guacamole were wonderful.
I got the lunch special fajita quesadilla with shrimp. It hit the spot. I heard the waitress discussing how crazy busy this place gets sometime, so night be worth checking in advance if a conference is in town. When I went, there was plenty of seating, it's a pretty sizeable place.
Outstanding! Steak Fajitas was great and the homemade tortillas that come with it were some of the better I've ever had! Within walking distance of downtown hotels.
I stopped in late on a Wednesday when I had family visiting from out of town. I ordered a Mexican Mojito, which is essentially a Mojito with tequila instead of rum, and ended up tasting just like a margarita. We got an order of guac made table-side which was delicious. Our food took a little longer
