Licha's Cantina - Austin - Photo album

Came here on a Sunday with reservations and got seated quickly, it was busy so it took a while to get our food but the server was great. Chips and salsa were SO GOOD. Good atmosphere and music, definitely recommend!
It's been so long since I've visited Austin. We were looking to place to eat lunch when Lichas was suggested. I had never heard of it but love trying new places. While trying to find this place we ended up walking between questionable alleys. We finally found the place but ended up in the back of
We really enjoyed the food here. We came sort of on a whim and without a reservation on a Friday night, so we waited around 35 minutes for our table. The restaurant was very busy with large groups of people headed into the bar and sitting in the outdoor dining areas. When we were seated, we were giv
Best and most authentic Mexican west of the Mississippi. Everything on the menu is fresh and amazing. Our server was the kindest women ever and they accommodated our large table with an late night reservation. Can’t wait to return.
One of my favorite Tex Mex spot! Really loved their lengua tacos. Other things on the menu are good too. The cocktails were quite salty though. The place can be busy. Recommend making reservations.
Ate way too much food. All so delicious, be adventurous order something you normally don't. Ours was octopus and it delivered, so good. Wife got the chipotle ceaser w/ snapper and the fish was cooked to perfection. The green salsa Verde here was drinkable, so good.
We came to Licha's late (like 10pm), tired, and so hungry after a wet walk all the way from dirty 6th. We sat at the bar and the bartenders could not have been nicer or cooler guys. The food was so good! The queso was amazing, and I had a chicken quesadilla, which was also delicious. I can't remembe
Because of urban location, it gets full starting about 5pm then gets really loud inside and outside. Small location so you'll have to be comfortable being close to neighboring tables. Excellent service. Food is good but not the best or most traditional if that's what you're looking for.
We arrived to Austin Friday and fasted to eat at this spot. Just in time for happy hour!! We devoured the chips and salsa. Both sauces were tasty. After so much indecision we decided to go with the sopesitos from the hh menu. The waiter asked for what type of protein, ‘I said beef.’ Well, it was ama
So incredibly good! The best authentic Mexican food I've had in Austin. The Birrias goat tacos are divine. We can't wait to go back and try more dishes!!
Great experience had here tonight! Arrived an hour before close and we were not rushed at all. The staff were friendly, super efficient and accomodating! Highly recommend the ceviche, the goat birria and the brisket confit tacos, thank you!!!
Loved coming here. Best Margarita I’ve ever had. The tortilla wraps were homemade and really good. The tacos are delicious and it’s a huge portion. Queso was good too!
A very relaxing pub and restaurant, with beers and cocktails options, but with a lot of excellent food for the dinner. You can seat inside or outside, the atmosphere is really nice. When we were there, it was very busy, but we could find a spot at the bar and the service was good anyway.
Cool Mexican vibes for a Wed evening. A bit pricy but at least the drinks were good and the atmosphere was great. Server was attentive and everyone was nice. Plenty of seating inside and out front and back!
We've been here a couple of times and had a great experience, the vibe is lively both inside and out, service is attentive and helpful, and of course you're given generous tortilla chips as soon as you sit down or while you wait if there's a wait (and they're delicious). We especially love the Sopec
Austin Gem!! Hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants in town. Food selection is authentic, great fast service and very affordable prices. Their salsa is extremely addictive and full of unique flavors, very different from other places. The environment is very casual. Pitchers of Palomas and ma
Great authentic items to choose from. Awesome atmosphere and drinks are good too. The flavors and choices are amazing. REAL Mexican food in Austin for once.
Food was delicious. 4 of us each had something different and everything was good. Service was wonderful and Jorge took extra time to explain some of the menu items. They also have a fun patio.
Had a great brunch here on Saturday! Definitely make a reservation as it is a smaller venue. But the food and drinks were delicious! Will definitely be back!
