Torchys Tacos - Austin - Photo album

Torchy's Tacos offers a delightful variety of tacos, with the Baja shrimp and green chile pork standing out as personal favorites. The green chili queso and chip dip add a flavorful touch, complementing the diverse taco selection. The self-service dining is both clean and convenient, and the reasona
Consistent tacos My favorite and goto one is chicken fajitas it’s less trashy than the rest Try a trailer park trashy style or the fried avocado ... be sure to get chips and salsa (or Queso). The avocado salsa is like a creamy guacamole. And delicious
Torchy's Tacos was a great stop for lunch! We were recommended here by locals. You can walk in and order at the cashier, then they will bring the food over to you. We got the chips and salsa to start. The Salsa was more of a Verde salsa with a light spicy to it ( I liked it). As far as the Tacos
My goto spot for breakfast tacos. All day every day. Can't beat that. When two other places where closed at 3pm, Torchy's stood tall and was open for business. Pink Christmas tree was a nice touch. And damn good tacos to go is a bonus. How can you beat a classic bacon, egg, and cheese for $3.75. St
Torchy's food remains very good, and very consistent across visits and locations. Service is always courteous, although rarely speedy. Order an appetizer -- you may be waiting a bit for your tacos! Tacos themselves are flavorful with good combos of ingredients -- a little over-packed, tho. Location
Torchy's Tacos has a diverse selection of tacos with cute names to boot. They are reasonable prices. I think they are good but not as good as everyone says they are. If you try the Congress location you will find yourself waiting in a long line for these tacos. These are not worth the bustle of a pa
Good tacos! I liked the chicken fajita and the jumbo shrimp. It could be a little better in my opinion and it would have been an absolute bomb! The service was great!
Thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to Torchy's ~ had a brisket taco, some chips and queso. The queso was the best I've had yet. The frozen margarita was a little strong on the mix but I'll take it over watery any day ~ strong I can fix!
Tacos at Torchy’s are super delicious! Well sized for the price. The only reason for a 4 star rating instead of 5 would be the tortillas. The best tacos are made with freshly cooked tortillas. The tortillas at Torchy’s appear to be mass produced and are not served hot. The tacos appear to be assembl
So I'm running deliveries for Favor and stopped in for one of my orders where I was greeted by Wyatt who took my order and offered me a drink while I wait which was awesome because it was super hot and muggy outside! Everybody was so polite! I'm sure the food was great... I'll definitely be back!
Cool taco options! They have a secret menu also😄. Service was quick, food was pretty good! Next to crazy crepes.
The tacos may seem pricey but they're gigantic. I'd say each one is probably 1.5-2x the size of a regular taco. I loved the southpole taco, which was the special of the month, with a perfectly tender lamb and sweet and sour sauce. I felt the ambiance and space weren't fantastic though - the fan was
First time in Austin and we were recommended torchys tacos. They were great. Amazing chips and queso. The mr. Pink mahi taco was amazing. The shrimp taco was good. My favorite was the chicken fajitas taco. Me wife loved her pork taco, all were great tbh. The atmosphere was great, everyone was very n
