I love the interior. It’s like a wooden barn. They have a fireplace, bar, plenty of seating in and out doors. It’s connected to the hotel, so it’s easy access if you’re staying at Lone Star Court.
Dropped in with friends from out of town, and thrilled it was exactly what it said it would be- Awesome atmosphere, fantastic food, and our server was superb!! Another recommendation for you to stop by! Happy Eating 🔥
Awesome place. You don't have to stay at the lone star to come here. They have free coffee and a good breakfast order as well as brisket nachos for dinner. The drinks are good as well. It's really relaxing in there and they had music playing every night along with happy hour everyday.

This place is very unique and comfortable. Limited menu of well chosen sandwiches and appetizers. We didn't drink, but the bar looked amazing. The sign outside does not say The Watering Trough, so it was hard to find until I looked at the picture of the building.
Great place to grab a drink and unwind or get something to eat. Great ambiance and fun live music. Their daily happy hour is on point, $2 Lone Star Beers! The service is great, especially the lovely mixologist Tay is always making up the best drinks I’ve ever had.

Great spot to kick it , eat and get good drinks. Inside the Domain it's where I go to cool down after shopping. It is inside/ outside , good for any season.
While staying at Lone Star Court I had the opportunity to dine at Water Trough. The place is really like like eating inside a big barn with bar on one side and fireplace on the other. There are TVs all around and live music at night.

Super friendly staff, good food at very reasonable prices. Had both breakfast and dinner here during our stay. Drinks are downright cheap so not a bad idea to have one or two before heading out for the night.

Hotel Bar-Restaurant for Lone Star Court. As usual for Austin, music-performers are pretty good. Decent selection of beer and wine, but can't recommend cocktails (weak). It's fine in the summertime when they have the doors open to the outside, but in winter, it can be tight. It's fine for a starter
