French Quarter Grille - Austin - Photo album

Absolutely fantastic, wow. I’ve seen this place for years but never took it serious because of the location and being next to Walmart (idk lol) but let me tell you… the food was too notch. I got the Catfish Yoli and the flavors and texture were excellent. Dessert was phenomenal as well. I also took
This was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time! I got the catfish gumbo plate with vegetables and red beans and rice. I haven’t ever been to Louisiana and gotten Cajun food, but I would like to think this is pretty close to Louisiana authentic.
Decided to try this place for the first time. We were not disappointed. The service was great. The prices are reasonable. Would definitely return. Great experience.
This place has a great ambiance, perfect for a date or quiet dinner. The food is really good. I love that you can substitute the fish in any dish; if it is listed as a catfish meal and has everything you like except the actual fish, you can substitute the catfish for tilapia or whichever kind you wa
Great restaurant. Wait staff is very courteous and kind. Their dishes are fully customizable which is just awesome. Food is delicious. Ambience is fantastic and bier is cold and yummy. What more can you ask for. Definately worth the visits just go ahead and put it in toor list of places to go.
Great food, I got the crab cakes, they were okay, I also got the beef and shrimp pasta! It was outstanding, the bread pudding was delicious! It’s a great little restaurant that’s very close to the house, I definitely will be back again.
Fried green tomatoes were good. The shrimp and beef pasta was surprisingly good but the shrimp Creole was just ok. Shrimp was fresh but overall the flavor was just a bit off. May have just been me though. My wife liked it. Overall a very nice dinner.
Tasty foods! Great selection of seafood and good sides. Bread is decent. Had the grilled ribeye with caramelized onions and mushrooms. Great flavors without overwhelming the taste of the meat. Had the red fish special with spicy sauce and it was seasoned very well. Service was great. Only odd t
Blackened Catfish Etouffee is HANDS DOWN the best $20 meal in North Austin! Third time I have had it, and it is fantastic. I actually ordered a double helping of white rice. I could have gotten the red beans and rice instead!
Excellent establishment! Great food and service. Zero complaints!
I walked in looking like I might skip on the check and was still seated and served very well, I was not expecting to find such an upscale place at this location, food was awesome tasting, I had the Calamari, the complimentary roll and butter just melted in my mouth, I have no idea what they season
What a hidden gem! The food, service, and atmosphere was all excellent. Had the chicken & andouille sausage gumbo, wedge salad, Chicken Benjamin, Catfish Pontchartrain, and Turtle Cheesecake and everything was delicious! We'll definitely be coming back.
Delicious meal enjoyed in a very nice bar setting perfect for solo diners. Friendly bartender & service. The gumbo excellent and filling, the beef & shrimp cheese tortellini was delicious and chocolate crème raspberry brûlée phenomenal! The restaurant is cozy upscale and appears perfect for a busin
The food to the service to the drinks was absolutely amazing. I told my friends and family about it already. I will be back. Thank you so much French Quarter grill!
For me, the food was good. Service was good for our big party without notice. They treated us respectfully. One person in our party of 15+ didn't like the food, but they took her food and didn't charge her. They offered to bring her something different as well.
The service is great, the atmosphere is wonderful and the pork tenderloin is tender and juicy.
By no means would I consider myself a Cajun food expert but our meal was spot on. I had the Shrimp, Crawfish & Andouille traditional Louisiana style sausage served over fettuccini tossed in creamy creole tomato sauce and the Mrs. had the Tilapia Almondine Pan sauteed tilapia topped with a creole me
Yeah the reviews don’t lie this place is really good for Cajun options in Austin (and I have tried most 😂). I had the gumbo, fried crawfish and prosciutto wrapped salmon. Everything was awesome. Our server was friendly and attentive, and the place had nice ambience! Can’t wait to try more — need to
