Great atmosphere and cocktails. Service was very quick and waiters were super nice. Our meals themselves were a little disappointing. Nothing was bad, but the salmon was too bland for my liking. The guac and chips was more memorable. But would probably return to try other items on the menu.
Very welcoming staff, laid back atmosphere, and the food was worth the visit. If you are looking for great flavor with a little kick at the end this is your place to eat. The menu should be updated to what is actually available. The dishes that piqued my curiosity were no longer available. Either wa
Stopped in for dinner as this was with walking distance of our Air BnB. Food did not disappoint. Wife's frozen margarita was partially frozen but it was good and so was my mojito. Wife has the pork & chorizo meatloaf and I had the chicken dish off the summer menu. Both were well seasoned with just t
Dinner here was great as always! Michael, our server, remembered us from the last time we were there. He was excellent as always and gave us amazing drink & meal recommendations! The Ahi Tuna salad was delicious and the raspberry coconut margarita was my favorite alcoholic beverage I've ever had the
*Green chile pork & tamale eggs Benedict. *Kahaul & Agave French toast. My friends had items above and they really liked it. *Capital beef barbacoa omelet. I had the omelet and it was good. The barbacoa was so tender and not greasy. All the ingredients meshed well together. *Parking: I went to 6th s
I loved the place! We were visiting from Houston during COVID and they had good precautions. The food was amazing but what made the visit a lot more enjoyable was BLUE! Yes that is the name of our waitress! She was extremely friendly, helpful and basically everything she recommended I got and I love
Cool little spot for happy hour and dinner. They have parking, but it’s limited, and can be difficult during peak hours. Great spot for happy hour on Tuesdays. Half off margs and tacos a la carte on Tuesdays. They also have other happy hour deals. We sat at the bar where the bartender Scott gave us
Michael is the best waiter here at Z’Tejas. I’ve enjoyed my stay in Austin trying almost everything on the Menu. Happy hour appetizers from 3- 6 everyday. Loved it all. Catfish beignets, Yuca fries, mushroom shrimp enchiladas, spinach pecan encrusted chicken with Gorgonzola, beer battered fish tac
What is a catfish beignets? Unfortunately I did not find out what’s catfish beignets are but brunch at Z’tejas is tasty, filling and pretty great on the weekend. The menu has the traditional tex-mex classics but also some slightly different dishes: babacoa omelet as one is the perfect meat and egg c
Food was sooo goood! Such a chill, fun vibe. A great place for a date night. The food was exceptional and so was the service. The drinks are amazing. Will be returning ☺️
I just flew in for a hair show this afternoon and I’m only here until tomorrow so I googled the best places to eat in Austin and this location came up with very good reviews… I came here and ordered several different dishes and it was very very pleased with everything. The service from the time I en
Probably the best Tex-Mex I’ve ever had! Absolutely delicious!! The presentation was great, quality of food was suburb and staff was prompt. Chips and salsa is on request, but it’s probably best that way so you don’t get full before the actual meal. If you’re in Austin, check this place out! You won
Great experience here. We had a large party and we had a private room with a bartender and servers for a buffet style dinner. The team did a fabulous job, were friendly and handled our large group with grace. The food was great - started with salsa and Queso bar and then we had an assortment of Tex
Visiting from Denver, first time in Austin. We spent all day walking and was SO HUNGRY!! Stumbled upon this place and Michael, our server/here for people of the world was fantastic! Great personality, food, and atmosphere!!
Good food here, but a better service by our waiter Michael. 😎
Not bad. A solid choice nearby. However my tres leches was hard as a rock this time around. But the fish choice was good and the veggies. Always love the corn bread
Lovely lunch spot. The fish tacos were delicious so was the hot corn bread. The salad was fresh and flavourful with the jerk chicken.
