Second Bar + Kitchen - Austin - Photo album

Nice dinner spot nearby the convention center to people watch. The food was solid, nothing that blew us away; avocado fundido was good but nothing special, the buffalo pickles did come with some interesting sauces. Props to the bartender for some well made and unique drinks. I did find the bite size
I had just one dish... Salmon over rice with Asian flavors. It was light, cooked as I asked (rare), and interesting. Just enough fish sauce, just enough pork pieces. Nicely crisped skin. The chilled red wine on tap was perfect.
We stumbled on SBK Downtown on Christmas Eve. Lucky for us. No waiting. Fast, friendly service. Superb food & atmosphere. Started w/ some Buffalo Fried Pickles & a real sugar Sprite. The fried pickle spears were some of the best in all of Austin. Not much spice but great flavor. The meals came out
We checked Second Bar+Kitchen for a late brunch on Saturday. Three of us decided to split the avocado fundido and a white pizza. We all ordered a cocktail each. The food was wonderful! The fundido was a take on salsa using avocado and chorizo and even though I am not a fan of avocados, it was delic
I went there for my Birthday dinner and it was great the food was super fancy like I could barely understand half the things on the menu but like it was all delicious and didn’t completely broke gang me. The servers were really awesome and did a good job translating the menu. The atmosphere is reall
The black and bleu pizza might be the best specialty pizza I’ve ever had. The burger was perfect. The service was friendly and attentive. A little bit of a pricier spot but this place was 10/10. Very chic interior. We had dinner and then walked over to 3ten which was ideal.
Wife and I came here for our anniversary dinner. A lively environment with modern decor and comfortable booths. We ordered the baked Brie. Delicious. She ordered the bianco pizza with Italian sausage. Delicious. I had the congress burger, medium rare. Delicious. Then we ordered a plate of dessert
While on my little weekend getaway, I searched for a quality restaurant offering really good seafood. We found this place in downtown Austin which was located adjacent to a hotel. They offered convenient valet parking which is always nice. I absolutely loved the ambiance and our waitress was such th
My wife and I had their food on our wedding night at the Archer and this was their in house food. We decided to go to their Austonian location for our two year anniversary. The food and service was outstanding. From their deep fried buffalo pickles, to the burger and pizzas, to the delicious dessert
Everyone on the menu looked amazing. We went with the salmon and brie and they were both fabulous. The strawberry shortcake was good but not the best we have had.
Well crafted foods and mostly good service are what makes this place. The simple blistered shishito peppers are a good way to get digestive juices flowing and the well curated cheese plate serves one well as an appetizer or perhaps a cheese course after the meal. Menu items are carefully prepared an
Visited during Thanksgiving and there was not wait (usually there is). The advertised Turkey dish was not a disappointment. The atmosphere is cozy and is family friendly. This location is in the heart of downtown so after eating one is within walking distance of shops and entertainment.
We really enjoyed our dinner here. The food was terrific, the atmosphere was fabulous, the service was attentive. They have an excellent menu with a great selection. I had the arugula and beet salad ( I added salmon) hubby had steak, friends had the trout, and cheese board. The cheeseboard was excel
Had to try out 1 of the top 10 burgers in Austin while we were there. Pretty darn good. The fried pickles were really good as well. If you're in the area stop by and check out second bar + kitchen.
Came here because our group was hungry and we got stuck waiting for a table at another restaurant that we had made reservations for :( Anyways, we came here and ordered a couple drinks to start and then ended up staying for the rest of dinner. We ordered a Manhattan and then a Gin and Jam. The Manh
Loved this place, good cocktail and nice size plates. The food looks so good and taste even better! I recommend the faroe island salmon · pork belly fried rice · coconut · nam pla · zucchini · fresno chiles · cilantro · mint Please follow me on Instagram @tryatreat
I asked what the server recommended. He said Salmon. I wasn't sure (even loving Salmon) but I took his recommendation, and have to say the flavors are absolutely amazing and the Salmon is arguably the best I've had. I never. Ever. Thought I would have my best Salmon dish in Austin. 🙌🏼
Best pizza I've had in my life hands down. Great service and drinks. Very friendly bartender covered in tattoos named Kenny. Had an incredible time thanks to him.
