Jack Allen's Kitchen - Austin - Photo album

My husband and I had dinner here. We tried the chicken nachitos, the crispy fried catfish and slaw, and the chicken fried New York strip. For dessert had the blondie brownie pie. The food was all delicious. The chicken for the nachos was seasoned well. My husband said his catfish was crunchy, and t
Great restaurant we like. The deep fried New York strip was so crispy and tender.
Love Jack Allen’s was great! The only reason for 4 stars is the trout had no flavor BUT that chicken sandwich was the BEST we’ve ever had. Drinks are well prices and so good! Stacey at the bar was nice and it’s a great vibe. Highly recommended for lunch or brunch and definitely will be back!
Delicious food choices fill the menu. Bring an appetite and your friend to enjoy a dinner that we leave you satisfied. I enjoyed the pesto marinated crab-stuffed chicken followed by a rich flourless chocolate torte. Yum!
Always a great place to eat and drink. I usually get the Ruby Red Trout Salad every time because it’s awesome! But they had a special this night as a Shrimp Ceviche Tostado entree so I tried it…also awesome! I had the Jack Margarita with it that was spicy but not too much and the German Chocolate Br
I’ve always enjoyed Jack Allen’s Kitchen, especially the original one. The one in Westlake was really off last night. Three couples met for dinner. The server was excellent. Drinks were good and came quickly. Luckily we sat in a corner because it is loud in the restaurant when it is full. Everyone s
Whenever we have visitors from out of town, Jack Allen's Kitchen is a safe bet. We stopped by for a brunch and decided to order items from their brunch menu instead of regular menu. 🤭 We started with Layered Chunky Queso and Chicken Nachitos as starter (Both we're delicious); for the main course, I
Excellent dinner at Jack Allen's with my friend. Amazing Barbacoa Tostada appetizer. ( Could have ordered two of these and called it dinner!). But we ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and salad with pear, goat cheese and walnuts. Both were incredibly delicious. Would order both again. Can't
Food is to die for and service was divine. Definitely recommend this place over and over again Both the pork medallions and the braised beef barbacoa enchiladas were delicious as well as their version of guacamole with pumpkin seeds in it. Not much for their special pimento cheese but everyone else
Amazing place, food and drink. Martini margarita is delicious!!! Sangria is really good. Nachos are very tasty. Crab dip also very good. I ordered the barbacoa enchiladas (delicious), my sister had the special, salmon enchilada (the best one), my husband the pork chop (very good) and a burger, also
One of the most consistently great experiences around: friendly, on-point staff serving delicious, unfussy chow.
I think you will start liking the place even before the food arrives. Good decor, nice ambience and very friendly staff. We went in for dinner and most of the table ordered the 13 spice pasta which is excellent. I got the grilled ruby trout which was lip smacking . I loved the combination of ingred
One of the best places off the beatend. tract. Once you are there the atmosphere encapsulates the aroma of good food. The salads are large and filling. The entrees are robust and made to your desired. Sides and adds are plentiful. This is a good place to meet, eat, and have fun with friends.
This was our first time at this location and just as good as the Oak Hill kitchen. Great staff and brunch.
Met some friends here for the brunch and was not disappointed, excellent food and service was proficient even though the restaurant was quite crowded. Their brunch dishes were all very creative and well done. I dined with four other people and everyone enjoyed their different meals. There is a good
Amazing brunch! The service was great. Very friendly and attentive. Our waitress gave us great suggestions and kept our coffee topped off. All the food was delicious! We didn't taste anything we didn't like and they even had Round Rock donuts! The atmosphere was warm and pleasant. Despite being very
Lots of good food. The pork medallions were a hit for sure. The guacamole had a lot going on and was really fresh, but surprisingly tasted a lot like avocado still even though a lot went into it.
Food tastes amazing, and the presentation is great. The servers are very nice. The green chilis in the gravy is fantastic. I hope Jack Allen's expands to Houston one day. I would love to be able eat at a Jack Allen's restaurant more regularly, and not just when im visiting Austin for the weekend.
