Launderette - Austin - Photo album

Amazing food, OK cocktails. The crab toast appetizer was incredible. Wonderful flavour profile balancing texture and acid. The Octopus was tender and delicious, with wonderful sauce and greens The Orecchiette was unlike any pasta I’ve ever had, with a tartness that makes it irresistible. The birthda
I’m not easily impressed but this place blew me away. We showed up at opening, hoping they weren’t too booked to fit us in. They happily seated us and then it began. The atmosphere, the vibe, the music, the staff, and then, my god…the food. The server let us know it was happy hour. Excellent. We kep
Went here for my husband's birthday dinner and the whole experience was amazing. Good food and great service. We ordered the Mediterranean appetizer, cauliflower, chicken, and birthday ice cream cake. The Mediterranean appetizer was out of the world - every element tasted so good! Cauliflower tasted
This was an absolutely wonderful experience, and I will happily recommend this to anyone visiting Austin. Probably the best meals that I had on my trip by far and I will make sure to visit this place again in the future. You can taste that the kitchen really focuses on their flavors and presenting t
It was a lazy Sunday morning we just finished watching one of my kiddos play soccer in a tournament for Labor Day weekend. We were Downtown South of the river so we decided to stop at the Launderette for a quick brunch. We sat at the bar which I highly recommend if it's just you or the 2 of you. T
We’ve been wanting to try out the Launderette out for a long time and it was so fun! Great little neighborhood atmosphere. We are outside on the patio where everyone was friendly and the aroma from the kitchen was fabulous!! We couldn’t resist dessert! Treat yourself soon!
It started as a quiet out of the way lunch. Rapidly, the lunch crowd came unexpectedly to me. The atmosphere became loud with conversation waiting more than 15 minutes for my check and waiting to close my check. Crab Louie was served with a small amount of crab, fortunately real crab. The beets w
It’s hard for me to give 5 stars these days when there’s so many good places to eat in Austin. I’ve been wanting to try this place for years. It was good and the atmosphere was fun. I didn’t get photos of the food, sorry! I’m glad to say I’ve been. Food was a 4.6.
One of our favorite meals in Austin. The burrata was my favorite. The beet dish was beautiful and very interesting mix of flavors. I also loved the cocktails.
Food was good. Favorite dish was the crudo. Wood grilled plates were a bit small but tasty. Nothing blew my mind and the fries were a let down, they were similar to wingstop with 2 average sauces, would skip these in the future. Drinks were tasty and refreshing. Worth a night out but not sure this w
I don’t want you to come. This place is too good. I love it as it is. Lol. Please don’t come and overwhelm it. This place is perfect, to me. It was low key. The vibe was amazing. The food was interesting, fresh, tasty, and I still feel healthy after eating here. Clean is the vibe? But in the chil
I didn’t touch the benny bc I didn’t know that was an egg Benedict and I don’t eat raw eggs. I wish the server had reminded me that the benny and the salad are two diff things when I asked him about the two bc I thought both were salads and I was trying to decide which. We end up getting 3 entrees
Casual restaurant in a former laundromat with upscale food and a competent bar. Dishes come as they are ready. The restaurant recommended thinking "family style" for consumption (a growing trend I'm honestly getting a bit tired of). Regardless this place has excellent food made with care and attent
Layout/atmosphere *Beach club vibe; tables & bar inside; covered patio outside (couches); parking lot Service *Friendly bartender/waitresses Food/drink *Crab Louie (bibb wedge, radishes, preserved lemon, rocoto dressing) - Good; fresh crab; zesty *Plancha Burger (American cheese, special sauce, pi
The shrimp dish I ordered was very delicious. It's a great place to dine.
The food was good, not great and way over proved for what you got. The service was good. The bartenders were exceptionally behind the entire time. More efficiently on that aspect would have been great. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience but it wasn't great for the price you pay to eat there.
This place is awesome! The vibe is amazing! We got the zucchini bread, crossiant of the day, potato hash and the salmon toast. I found everything to be very delicious and well balanced. Anthony was an excellent waiter and even gave us some suggestions for the city. A must try!
Went here for my birthday lunch and ordered the burrata, sticky Brussels sprouts, frites, pulled chicken BLT and a couple of cocktails. The burrata was delicious and they make all their breads in house. Everything was good but a little pricey for lunch. I would like to come back and try their dinner
