Overall we love Popeyes, so I've given 3 stars starting out. But the service at this particular location is poor. They forgot our fries, didn't apologize, and acted irritated that I would bring it to their attention. Said I'd have to wait. Granted this is a challenging location due to it being within the gas station and they were pretty busy. But they seemed disorganized and not sure what they were doing. They didn't seem to communicate well with each other.

Where do I begin. 1. Walked in before 9pm, the manager (maybe owner?) Told the cook to stop cooking food. No tenders up. No sandwiches. No fresh chicken. 2. I wanted tenders, they wouldn't drop any (they didn't close for another hour). I settled on shrimp. Took 20 minutes? Even though there was no one in front of us. 3. It took them over 6 minutes to even take our order even though no one else was there.
The only good thing is the younger woman working there. She still had a smile on her face and was super nice.

Chicken was good and fresh. Fast and friendly service. Cole slaw was okay, little too much dill flavor in this batch. Wasn't as sweet as I'd like, but still good. Biscuits were good and flaky. Good visit.

Slowest place ever. Especially for a rest stop. Ordered shrimp combo and she said ‘nope’ I was like ok? She said the were out and that’s fine but saying nope. Everything is literally precooked right in front of me in the warmer but yet it took 35 minutes to give me my order with only one person ahead of me. I definitely will not return

If you want fast and eager service this is the wrong place. They are overwhelmed and frustrated, but professional. Clear communication of delays happened. I waited 30 minutes for my order since I ordered spicy chicken just as they ran out.
30 minutes later my chicken was piping hot and delicious. The food was awesome and hella pricy. There is definitely a truck stop premium of about 25% on top of Popeyes normally high prices.
Accept all that cause you want Popeyes and you'll love the food. I did.

Every time I come in they are super busy! And they seem pretty short staffed when I have come in, but I’m always greeted and taken care of, and I’ve always gotten hot, fresh, and tasty food.

Although they don’t have the jambalaya anymore and that’s a bummer, wish they would bring it back!

Bad experience at this place. Around 12pm we place our order, Took almost one hour to get our food and it was only 8 pieces meal. The old lady taking orders is really grumpy. After 30 minutes waiting i approached to her and ask about my order she got defensive and said we are waiting on chicken. Surprisingly I was doing exactly the same waiting for my 8 pieces of chicken!! I think only one guy working at the kitchen is not enough. Especially at lunch time
