I am a very understanding individual, and I’ve worked in the food industry with understaffing. But this was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. To start, my fish sandwich still had the skin on it so I gave it back but was offered nothing to replace it. My wife’s $20+ chicken salad was romaine lettuce from the grocery store with a wad of chicken placed on top (uncut). I could’ve made this at home for $3. Another person had cold potatoes and broccoli. Some people got their dinners 20-30 minutes before others and the first ones to eat were those who got the grilled cheese. Why in the world would you cook that first when you know it’s the easiest thing to make? We as the guests ended up being the ones to fill everyone’s water back up, otherwise I’d still be waiting to have it refilled.
There was only one waitress to cover the bar, food, and it was for an 85th birthday party for around 20-25 people (we were the only ones there). If you couldn’t handle the party size, you shouldn’t have accepted to host; and that’s a management problem.
Very disappointed in a place where they charge you an arm and a leg to just eat there. This is the definition of ripping people off. You’re supposed to eat what you pay for and I would’ve rather gone down the street to McDonalds and paid them the prices I was being charged. It’s a shame such a nice place doesn’t live up to the expectations of the pricing on their menu. I will never come back to this place and I hope others think twice before deciding to open their wallets and eat here.

Great food, great service, priced right for the quality. The environment is relaxing. It has never been so crowed I couldn't get a table.

I have been to Paws during Happy Hour not once or twice but many times. That is proof of the fact that I love this place. Any restaurant that makes me go again and again has a couple of things going besides being a very convenient location. One is service and the the other, of course, is the quality of food. In the service area, I haven't seen a better person than Mitch. He makes an exceptional old fashioned but I have also had gin and tonic as well as scotch. He has a very pleasant personality' Also hard working and pays good attention to any customer needing help. I admire him since he is also a student at other times.
In the food area, I love the brussel sprouts and the calamari but I cannot leave without the sushi rolls and the sashimi.
Hopefully the managers read this review.

Waiter was very inexperienced, food was cold and not to discription, steaks were over and under cooked, dessert, well they took one piece and destroyed it and tried to pass it off as two pieces, another piece was large and one was a sliver, really? Horrible, however, manager was accommodating, expensive for what you get

Ken's sushi is top notch and a great value.

This was our first time eating from Paws. We ordered the clam bake with chicken to go. It came with two sides and a dessert. Everything was hot, fresh, and packaged appropriately. The clam chowder was good but the portion was smaller than I expected. The chicken and clams were very good. I normally do not order dessert but this was a mini lava style Bundt cake with some kind of caramel topping and it was delicious. Overall the quality of food was good and fit the price.

Paws it’s just one of those great little restaurants in Aurora that really has excellent food, excellent service, and excellent sushi.
Recently we went in there around 7:30. And even though the restaurant closes at eight, The server waited on us and took very good care of us. I think by the time we left it was around 10 o’clock because we just had a great meal and we ran into some very special people who took time out to talk to us and is a known local celebrity who frequent the place but I won’t say who he was to preserve his ability to dine at this restaurant and avoid the paparazzi‘s.
You never know who you’ll see at the restaurant but enjoy the camaraderie of the servers and sushi chef!
If you haven’t been to paws in Aurora you really need to get there soon the food and service is absolutely outstanding all the time.

Great filet and an extremely generous pour on the bourbon.
