WOW!! I went there yesterday as I heard from a fellow "Brit" how good this place was. I'm from England, and I love all types of pasties and sausage rolls, and I have yet to find a place in the U.S. that offers good food. The sausage roll was incredible (just like the homeland), and I tried the special they had that day which was a ground beef pasty. Both were sooo good. I couldn't leave without taken some home either! So I grabbed a few and put them in the freezer. Great place with a great atmosphere. The owner and his family are warm and welcoming. And while I was there, 2 separate ladies came in and took home close to $100 worth of pasties each!!! So it must be good!!
We picked up a variety of pies Saturday night to bake up when the whole family was around on Sunday. We tried the following:
Sausage Rolls
Beef Pasties
Pepper Steak
Cheeseburger
Ham and Cheese
and one of the specials of the day - Pepperoni Pizza!
All were absolutely amazing. I did not know what to expect with the cheeseburger, the ham and cheese, or the pizza, and I was blown away by how delicious they were.
The atmosphere was very friendly and warm, and the smell when you walk in the door is incredible. I was disappointed we weren't eating right then and there!
We are used to steak and ale type of meat pies (I'm Scottish and my husband is Irish) and the pepper steak is the closest to that style, but I would say try them all!
Absolutely the best South African pie shop within a 100 mile radius. 😂 All jokes aside, the food here is great!
Can't decide if I liked the pepper steak or chicken pot pie more! My daughter loved your sausage roll! It brought back memories to her, but she says yours is even better than in Joburg. You have new regulars here. What a great surprise!!!
Excellent meat and dessert pies!!! The crust is made from scratch and is to die for!
This is fast becoming my go to "friends date" place. Everything is delicious and the staff is wonderful about explaining their flavor profiles. Their desserts are fabulous, and you should try them all!
The beef is so yum! Best pot pies
Pie Boss has an amazing staff who serve incredible South African inspired savory pies, pasties, and sausage rolls. One of my favorite places to eat!

Bought a ham and cheese, chicken peri peri, chicken and vegetable pot pies and a pepperoni pizza puff. Everything was so good!!
So good! Really nice people and the crust here is to die for.
I'm officially in PieBoss heaven! Just enjoyed your amazing sausage rolls! Have had many of your pies and I'd say you have a gift in making those from over the pond very happy! Thank you!!!
Didn't know much about this place until today. Thanks to my friend Ray I will be partaking in Pepper Steak pot pies all the time. The flavors are tremendous.
Had dinner here tonight and it was excellent! Bought some of their frozen meat pies and brought them home to enjoy on another night. If you are in the area - be sure to go there!
Peri Peri Chicken was so yum. I took some frozen pies home for my husband and he kept saying man we need them closer to us. Worth the trip up to Aurora. The spicy chicken with peas and the spices are so yum!! Thanks for all the spices in the pies, was taken back home. Hope we get to enjoy bunny chow in the future.
Stopped by today from the city while visiting a friend. Amazing. I brought home lots of pies for dinner - kids loved them, we loved them and the house smelled amazing cooking them. Thanks so much! Totally craveable... please come to the city sometime.
If you haven't had Pie Boss yet, you are truly missing one of the great joys of life! Everything is fresh, authentic, and best of all...sinfully delicious. Seriously, I'm eating Pie Boss with one hand and typing this review with the other. Give this place a shot.
Food was great! So happy I found out about this place. I had the spinach and feta, bbq chicken, and pie dog. Loved them all. Will definitely be back to try more.
Also they were very nice.

These pies are SO good!!! Several different flavors of meat pies to choose from and they are all AMAZING! Yes, I have tried them all. The owners are the best, they are like family. You can load up your freezer with frozen pies to take home or you can ask them to bake your order for you. And if they have the desserts available, try those too!! Make sure to call ahead to order :)
We drove out to Aurora, because we had heard such wonderful things about Pie Boss. The owner was so warm and friendly, and made sure our pies were hot out of the oven right when we arrived! Flaky crust, delicious fillings, it was all done right! We will definitely be back 👍🏼👍🏼
Pie boss has nailed the quantity and quality to cost ratio. About 7$ got me a sizeable personal portion and was easily within the top 5 pies I've had in my life. Try the spicy vegetable pie, it's a sort of a veggie pot pie with curry sauce that's just amazing.
Finally I found someone who speaks my kinda PIE language! Actual delicious meat pies! Emphasis savory not sweet, meat not fruit pies.
Having grown up in New Zealand, a British colony, steak pies are a staple, but unfortunately they are non-existent here, or so I thought! Therefore I was super stoked to come across Pie Boss on Instagram randomly and it took me no time to find my way here, especially since they are in my neighborhood!
Pie Boss took me back to Kiwi land and warmed my heart with their hearty pies! Great pastry too, the mark of a great pie, a must to complement the deep flavors found inside it.
Cheers mate, you made my day!

Blueberry pie was amazing! Best pie I’ve ever had. Crust & filling is homemade. Filling was not too sweet, just right :) Family loved it. Will definitely be back. You must call a day ahead for a family size pie, they bake it fresh for the time you choose to pick up.
EDIT: the new Southwest Chicken pie is amazing! Beans, red peppers, corn, spinach, and spiced just perfectly.
Terrific tastes from South Africa, England, and America - pepper steak, chicken peri peri, spinach & feta, cheeseburger, and more - all inside the most delicious crust you've ever tasted. You might think this is a typical pot pie, but it's so, SO much more. The crust is made from scratch and all of the ingredients are fresh -- nothing is brought in frozen or pre-made. There is always something vegetarian on the menu, as well. Ty and his family run the shop and he is a friendly guy, an impeccably honest businessman, and an amazing chef. Drop in for lunch or call ahead to get your favorite flavors baked fresh just for you. And don't forget to grab a couple of dessert pies to take home!
I'm a kiwi who likes a good meat pie! Haven't tried them all yet but the chicken curry and sausage rolls are good so far! Looking forward to trying the rest soon.
Owner is very nice
