Food is overpriced and also terrible. Upset my stomach. About as far from soul food as you could get. Their macaroni and cheese is worse than any grocery deli's macaroni and cheese, and their "cake" is $5 for a tiny, week old slice of something that tastes like they dried it out in the trash before serving. Not worth it!

(Named Mommas Soul)Horrible!!!Walked in and noticed it was virtually empty, but tables dirty. My friend was recommended to try this place. Against my better judgement we did. We ordered fish dinner & chicken and waffles. Our sides were macaroni and cheese and rice and 2 types of beans. The food was flavorless. The chicken was crispy, but tasted odd. His fish tasted too fishy. The beans were dry. The macaroni and cheese was a disgrace to the soul food community. Macaroni was watery, tasteless, and definitely not baked. The only tasteful thing was the waffle
I promise you this is NOT a bonifide soulfood place. Its just a place where a mediocre cook decided to work and tack on a soulfood name. I took a couple bites and refused to eat anymore.

It was a really nice experience. The fries were nice and crispy, the burger was nice and warm. Customer service was amazing. Other than the food being outrageously hot when it was served, I really enjoyed it.

A friend who knew the owners suggested we try the food got wings and fries and then an order of whiting with smack n cheese the food was blan and lacked flavor I have lived in the south for 16 years and never had bad soul food will never return after spending 30 on the order and the portions don't reflect in price or flavor they are the worse

Terrible service. They took 45 minutes for some damn wings n they messed up our order. Thoughtfully offered to reconcile their mistake but even still we work and wasted our entire break because of it. seriously questioned further attendance.
