Review Stampede - Aurora

Stampede I a wonderful venue that accommodates hundreds of people for many occasions, it offers a full kitchen many bar locations on both levels a beautiful stage and a great sound system arrangement, there are also many restrooms. The gala I attended housed approximately 500 people with ease and comfort.

My friend and I have been looking forward to checking out Ladies Night (Wednesdays) for a few weeks. There is a $5 cover, but Ladies get two drink tickets (to use on beer, wine, or wells). When we arrived, just before 7pm, the floor was packed for the line dance tutorial (1 song was taught, and played atleast twice over the course of the night). We were really surprised and excited to see such an outstanding turn out! The dance floor is massive, and there's also a small dance floor upstairs. We had no wait for either of our drinks, from the bars (there were atleast 3 bars open). We ordered food and ate upstairs, overlooking the dance floor, while waiting for line dances to be played. The gentleman at the food counter was super sweet, cordial, and helpful. Perfect customer service, and a great smile! The food was.. ok. Real unprocessed chicken in the chicken fingers, but boring breading. Beef Empenadas filling had a chili-like flavoring (didn't expect them to taste authentic, but didn't expect a chili flavor either), the crust was decent. The Asada Fries were the best part, but I wish I would have asked for crisper fries, to stand up to the moisture of the toppings. The most disappointing part was the PA system and music choices. It was incredibly difficult to understand the dance instructor and the DJ when they spoke. Not a big deal, but if we couldn't see the instructor for the tutorial, we had a hard time following along. Also, we were excited for line-dancing, but it was probably 70% two-step to 30% line dances. After the one line-dance tutorial, there was a string of two-step songs 'til about 8pm (about 10 or so songs). Occasionally about 6-8 people would do a line dance in the center of the floor, during two-step music, not counting the majority of the time that people would do the Cowboy ChaCha (probably about 10-15 times throughout the evening). We overheard a regular customer say things often pick up about 10 or 11pm... and although there was more line dancing later in the evening, they often weren't current popular country songs. To be fair, I will say that the dance floor always stayed plenty active which is the ultimate goal; but to my own credit, I have frequented 2 other country bars outside of the state, so this isn't due to inexperience, and this isn't my first rodeo. Wishing there was a more equal ratio of line dancing to two-step. Sadly, this was a lackluster experience.😕

Smells like an old drive bar should. Great place for the Aurora School of Rock show. Kind employees and good service.

First time there was okay. I like the spaciousness. We were there for the School of Rock Aurora band concert. Acoustics was good. Students did GREAT!!! There was an open bar and food. It was one waitress for too many people. Food was cold when we got it and I had to pay for food my child did not eat because it took tooo long to get due to one person doing it all. In knowing the concert was happening today Stampede should have been better prepared. There were 5 bands an hour and 45 minutes each. People coming and leaving the entire time. For the occasion it could have had better help.

Big,fun,clean and great customer service experience on Saturday March 5, 2022 on the upstairs area. Server was super professional and friendly. If you are looking for a place to Dance and have fun, I highly recommend this place!

Had a great time last night at the fights me and the wife. There was a security guard Katie that was wonderful our server was Allie she was amazing I definitely did not feel neglected when it came to customer service and there was also a security guard named Keegan he was amazing extremely helpful definitely somebody you need to keep on the team all-around great experience will definitely be back

My truck lost all power at 11:30 one evening. I coasted into the parking lot. At first, the staff was super helpful and curious. A short time later, a bull-dike member of security had the audacity to accuse me of stealing the vehicle. Being stereotyped due to my many tattoos, I was mortified and humiliated. On top of the stress I was already feeling. Acting like a police academy reject and a poor representative of this company. It even asked me for my vehicle registration and ID!

Very large dance floor, great prices, and friendly people.

It was an awesome country music night club. I was there 3 times. I haven't been there since 2005 but it was one of the best layouts for a nightclub that I've ever seen. Its a two story nightclub. The second floor had dining, pool tables, a bar and an open balcony looking over the first floor dance floor. The dance floor is a circle, yes a circle just like a race track. There is a bar in the middle of the circle that is packed with customers. You have to wait for an opening in the line dancers to cross and get to the bar. There is also an outside patio. The place was a lot of fun. The atmosphere was great. Everyone was having a good time.

This place is a dive!! We sat and watched a mouse running all over the floor as we were eating.... Service was horrible and poor beer and wine options! We definitely WON’T be back!

Ive been going to the Stampede for many many years... I was surprised that there were so few patrons. Not sure if its because the establishment changes back and forth between Hispanic night and Country. Maybe people are confused what music is on what day. Or if its due to lack of advertisement. DJ needed to play 'sets' to get a bit of each style of dance. He played no line dances, which I enjoy. But we did in some decent amount of dancing. It was live music night. Band was ok, but seemed to only play 3 step music. Again, varied styles wiuld appeal to more dancers. Will always like going to Stampede, but worried about its future.

My first time here at stampede and I am completely shocked, the employees were extremely rude yelled at a whole crowd to get the fuck out! There’s was many minors that came to an event but the age range was never addressed in any of their post like it should have been and many other posts said it was an “All ages event”. It’s out raging that the tickets are so expensive and people can’t get refunded for a mistake that they committed! By the way you should hire new staff that actually know and have manners!

This place kicks ass The beer is cold in the ladies are beautiful the music is not bad either

Horrible staff, good bartenders, never again! The two times Showed to their events had horrible experience. Props to bartenders and promoters

Visiting from Iowa and had a great time here. Very friendly staff and great place to meet people and mingle.

Was there last night for the 50 shades of men performance. First time ever there, the staff was friendly and the lady that took care of us for our drinks was great, drinks weren't mixed well and WAY too much alcohol in them, but I have to say- the WORST bathroom I have ever been in. The toilets in over half the stalls were disgusting, the bathroom floor was soaked and no paper towels to dry your hands!

Biggest rip off the main group didn't even play a full hour and the security guards are arrogant idiots
