El Alamo - Aurora - Photo album

I first tried El Alamo with co-workers about 15 years ago and have been eating there about once every 2 - 4 months ever since. I take my wife there for the authentic flavor and atmosphere of the Mexican menu but must admit I have not tried the Peruvian cuisine.
My wife and I have been going there for years. We just bought a house down in Douglas CO, and we still find time to make it that way. The food is the best Mexican food we have found in a long time. I will continue to make the drive just because it is so GOOD:)
We enjoy their authentic food. And the people are friendly, but the service isn't on full attention to the customers. Like asking if we want refills on chips and refills on water while waiting for refill on water for half n' hour. The environment is clean and nice! Some good music in the background.
We took our food to go. The beans tasted like they were out of a can, they were absolutely horrible! The prices were way too high for the low quality of the food. We will not be returning.
Great food. A real neighborhood feel. Good price.
What kind of food are you people used to eating? ???????????????? Want good food go to Rositas on 80th and Federal.
Not much more to say other than... droool. Especially the Peruvian menu. Doesn't get any better.
