Breakfast buffet was great -made to order omelettes and waffles. Great service, beautiful ambiance and super clean. Great Saturday, out of the ordinary brekfast with superb waitstaff. Thank you!

Kids friendly place and the dessert is tasty. But they comp nothing for you if an order is sent back because it is not good. Their chicken seems to be store brought rotisserie chicken. The texture and the taste is all wrong. No options or choices and if anything has to be done differently, that is all extra. Was Celebrating two birthdays this evening but pretty unwhelmed with the food and portions

Had to eat soft food for a while so I had their kale and bean soup. It was so good. Wished I could have eaten the baguette that came with it, but it smelled fantastic. Little pricey (it was the Gaylord after all) but the view of the mountains and the old Santa Fe caboose from the restaurant's patio seating was great.

Attended a conference in the hotel and dined here a few times. Breakfast was good, love how they manage the omelet stand, works really well. The rest of the buffet is decent to good. I never like It when they include the service with the bill kinda defeats the purpose. Dinner was weird, Table was wobbly, server was creepy, got me something I did not order and portions were small including the drinks (a double looked a lot like a single).

Not sure why the current 101 total reviews amount to only a 2.9 out of 5 stars. From my personal experience, including three colleagues I work with which dined with me at Vista, we all gave this experience 6 out of 5 stars So, why 6? Well, aside from the 5 out of 5 rating for food and ambiance, our server Lori, did an amazing job which went far beyond the standard expectations of a server. Not only is Lori personable, she is passionate about her job, made recommendations based off our individual needs, and provided us with delicious entrees which satisfied all our unique palates. She is a unicorn for this type of business and exemplifies a standard every server server should strive to achieve if they want to be successful. Also, Iā€™d like to note in addition to her knowledge about Vista, Lori was able to talk to us about the other five restaurants on the Gaylord Rockies property as well as provide insightful information on the other five Gaylord properties across the US. I highly recommend Vista not based on its delicious food, but more for people like Lori, which take it to a whole other level completing an ideal experience anyone would want dining at a restaurant.

I don't typically review my dining experience, but definitely wanted to take the time to express how horrible this establishment is. If you've already taken the the time to read other reviews I'm sure you know where this is headed... Our server was horrible, once we were greeted the first thing out of her mouth was "I'm only 20, so I have no idea anything about the alcohol/wine", we brushed it off but it continuously got worse.. we've read you get bread upon seating, but was told they were out.. but once we raised a small fuss she very quickly brought some to us (which was odd, seeing they were supposedly out?) As the food came out I wish we would have just stayed home and cooked up pasta ourselves with how bland it was. Once we were finishing up, we realized after the bread came our server had only came to our table a total of 3 times for our entire experience. She quickly dropped the bill and made the remark "18% gratuity is added on the bill", then proceeded to walk away quickly...We were never greeted by manager and for how expensive this dinner was the least they could do was at least stop by... We even mentioned we were out dining for a special occasion, and she didn't even make a remark? Regardless, myself and my family will never be dining there again.

$4.50 for iced tea, $26.00 for 1 piece of chicken parmigiana (nothing served with it, no lettuce, no bread), $16for a very small side of spaghetti. With tip. $60.54. One person for food is not great. :-(

Pricey but food is super underwhelming. We were celebrating two birthdays this evening and went here with high hopes but was pretty disappointed. The chicken tasted like rotisserie and they charge an extra $7 for a side of this for a kids meal. You have to order exactly what is on the menu. Any simple alternatives or other options are out of the table or can cost you extra. The server can not take off any 'menu items' once it is on the bill? Anyways, won't be going back unfortunately šŸ˜”
