Swirk Supreme Food

The so-called BBQ was not BBQ at all! I think it was cooked in the oven. The peach cobbler is not real peach cobbler it's like some bread baked over peaches. I thought the cake was going to be like homemade nope store bought. The sweet potato pie also tastes like it's store bought. The greens were canned and no type of flavor added. The Mac and Cheese noodles were way over cooked. The only things I like is the gizzards but it shouldn't have whatever type of spice that is added to the flour it tastes weird. Please y'all put some more love in the soul food! Y'all got to do better!

The food is excellent. I really enjoyed the catfish special. The potato salad and greens are delicious. Don't forget to order some yummy sweet potato pie for dessert. The only thing that I saw as a potential negative is the wait. The restaurant appears to be very busy so you may either want to call your order in or be willing to wait. Grubhub also delivers for this restaurant.

I ordered the biggest plate that contained fish, link, 2 ribs, bbq chicken and four shrimp. Food was ready in about 13 minutes. The Mac and cheese is cheesy and creamy. The greens are okay not too spicy. The Pork ribs were not so good, they were old and hard. The fish fillet was tasty but it still didn’t taste freshly made. The hot link was not juicy but chewy & rubbery. The food was not freshly made. It was 1pm. I would recommend if there not no where to go and you want mac and cheese. Oh the shrimp were tasty but the coat looked as if they had been sitting under the light or in oil. I wish I visited at an earlier time. I’m not sure if I would go back. Catfish haven and uncle Bo’s is much better but I tried it.

What a horrible experience! I received 3 very small pieces of fish. None of my requests were honored. When I called the restaurant to discuss it. The manager yelled "You get your refund from Grubhub! I'm done with you". I was so confused because I was only discussing issue respectfully and he just blew up. I'm from New Orleans and trust me, this restaurant does not do Soul Food correctly and then the manager has a very nasty attitude to boot! I'm done with them!

Out of probably over a 150 restaurants I've picked up food from in the metro area Swirk Soul Food has consistently been the worst experience. Tonight I waited for ten minutes before I could even get someone to tell me they were actually working on my order. When I asked for an estimated wait time I was scoffed at. They said they didn't want to give me an estimate because I'd be mad if it was off. This is NOT unusual for this place at all. They just simply don't care about providing any useful information that a normal place would happily provide. And the food is absolutely never ready on time or even close to it.

I've ordered the pork and beef ribs, and the pork ones are much better, mostly falling off the bone. The beef was somewhat under done and thus would not come off the bone. The chicken falls off the bone but still juicy. The sides are good, especially the hush puppies. The Mac and cheese is creamy.

Ok.. NOOOOOO . First off it took more than 10 minutes to notice we entered the store, and no one greeted us until a beautiful young lady came out the kitchen to give another customer their order. She had exceptional customers service and was very polite and smiled the whole time. Now to the food. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. There were store brought pound cakes in the display when you first walk in. What????? Get out of here .Yikes the brisket was very fatty, hard and cherry all in one bite. That's a bad combo!!!!!! The Mac and cheese was worst than Kraft Mac and cheese. Very bland and tasteless. The hot link was hard and felt like rubber. The 7 eleven hot dog was more edible than the hot link. The fish had a bad smell to it and was very salty. Could not go past one bite. Ok!!!!!!!!!!! Y'all what's going on Colorado has no good bbq restaurants or even soul food. What's going on. Where's the good restaurants at... Idk I need someone cousin or uncle number, because backyard bbq and Sunday soul food days need a come back.
