Review La Morena Mexican Restaurant - Aurora

This menu is so big, it’s like a book. So many choices but thankfully they had photos. Nice huge portions. My friend said the tostada was delicious! My shrimp tacos were good, not the best ever, but good for sure. Definitely stop by here!

Everyone has been to a Mexican restaurant in their lives. But many have never experience a true Mexican restaurant where the culture is food and family. Yes they were super busy even at 830pm on a Sunday which made service slow but don't let that discourage you. The atmosphere is electric, the food delicious and the patrons all laughing and smiling while enjoying a family meal. We even got lucky and it was karaoke night. Not that I am a singer but as you dine, anyone at any table can opt to put their voice on the stage. Music selections from Spanish to old country music like Charlie Daniel's and everyone loved it all.

My experience was wonderful. I had a server named Arely and she was amazing! She was very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. She was very good at her job. The food was great too. Big portions and delicious. I will come back to this place and I highly recommend it.

I went to this spot with my girls and let me tell you their drinks are expensive like really pricey. It was a nice spot since they have karaoke and everyone was nice and making sure to check up on you often. Oh and they add their tip to your bill already without you choosing how much you want to give. Our bill was over 400 dollars.

Everything in the molcajete was overcooked and the flavors weren't even great. Worst part was the extremely loud karaoke. You couldn't even have a conversation with the person sitting next to you. Service was actually good but the food was awful, especially for the prices. Save yourself some money and go down the street to Tacomex.

Great 1st experience, walked here while my mufflers were getting done at Castillo's (via their referral) ordered the chorizo and egg plate, very tasty, nice mild fresh salsa with HOMEMADE tortillas, friendly service!
