Little Jamaica

I had such a good time here. The food... Let me tell you... It was very good. First time I had plantains. It was good. The barbecue was flavorful and the meat fell off the phone. The cabbage was so delicious. My compliments to the chef By the way, we took our plates to go and I never made it to the hotel with my food. I ate my plate in the car on the ride back. It started with a taste and I couldn't stop. Lol. So I don't have pictures of my food. We were there for the first Friday event when Bryan Popin was there. The event itself was real good. The location is roomy. I see it as a good place to have events. The sound quality was very good. The next day we returned for a small doctoral graduation celebration. It was very classy.

I visited this location and was pleasantly surprised! The building is a walk-up restaurant, were you would order from the window. They have a tent outside during the day, that you can rest and eat your meal. The owner and his friend are very pleasant and had great conversation. My BF ordered the oxtail dinner, and I ordered the jerk chicken dinner. IT WAS DELICIOUS!!!! If you are ever in Augusta and want Authentic Caribbean cuisine, I Highly recommend visiting this location. Oh yeah... the price and speed of service are pretty great too!

Food is great! However each time I’ve gone the price has been different for the same two meals that I order each time. Today I went and they were out of green beans which had been a side along with everything else and has been each time I’ve gone but because they were out it’s not included it’s just something extra they do. That was her excuse to still charge the same price and not providing the full meal. This place needs consistency around the board.
