Ponderosa

This place has the worst service and food at this establishment. I have tried to give this place multiple times and every time me and my family come here there is hardly if any food on the bars let alone fresh the staff are rude little kids that stand in back of the back of the place I would rather spend my money's at McDonald's before this establishment! The place is a disaster!

The food was good but the service was a little slow. To be fair we were a party of nine and there was also another party of 15 and it was only about an hour before close when we showed up. Some items on the buffet ran out and we're not refilled but again it was almost closing time. This was my first visit to a Ponderosa in 8 years and everything I used to love about it is still great.

This place is a disaster! Cold food, slow service, and no food on the buffet! My pregnant niece didn't even get her food until I complained to the manager. If I could give this place a negative 5 stars I would. Never going back to this place. One other after thought... the food we actually got was disgusting. My wife's chicken that actually came out was like a piece of rubber. Dry, cold and gross! Glad I only got the salad bar!

The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. The buffet was clean and the food was hot & fresh. The manager was great. Overall, we weren't impressed with the food. We could cut the mashed potatoes into triangles. The meatloaf looked like a mushy, soggy brownie. Maybe it was an off day. I recommend ordering rather than getting the buffet.

Lots of empty dishes on buffet line. salad never got refilled during our visit. Asked 3x for lemons for out waters. Plates never got removed from table, put them on the table across from us. Food that was fresh was good but it's all pre-made packaged food from the frozen section. Bathrooms dirty. Never once saw a manager up front. Over all a bad experience will NEVER return waste of money I e never been compelled to leave a review. GM/manager should be fired.

For two people the dinner buffet was a little over $30. I was kind of disappointed with it. There wasn't a lot of selection. Two bars besides the dessert area and salad bar, maybe a dozen things to choose from. The mashed potatoes were very bland, though the gravy did save it. The meatloaf tasted tremendously sweet for some reason. The chicken was very, VERY dry...although nicely seasoned. I got the impression that it may have been sitting there for a while. The macaroni and cheese tasted as if it came out of a box. I remember eating at Ponderosa as a kid and the food was fantastic...it just seemed terribly over priced and bland for what they charged. I may go again, but I think I'll just order off the menu next time instead.
