Took a trip to Atlantic city & I was devastated at how the vid closed so many businesses. In my search of open restaurants I found El Patron. The atmosphere was very relaxed, service took a bit longer than expected but the staff was very kind & attentive when they were present. Taco's were on point though drinks were a little pricey but I'll definitely visit again next time I'm in Atlantic city

El patron is the most authentic Mexican restaurant. The food they serve is from the states of Puebla and Oaxaca cooked just as I'd done in Mexico. The taste is like the mom's cooking. They serve margaritas made with natural ingredients, no mix. Excellent service.

The tequila is cold and the salsa is hot! Not many places in A.C. offer a little nibble when you're getting your drink on. The owner is so friendly. The food is authentic and the dance floor is spicy! They have live music on weekends and it is a great place to pre/after party. Dont be surprised if you dance into the night!

Awesome place!! My family and I were so glad that this place opened late for dinner. The waitress was very nice and the food came out at a decent pace as well. The beef was amazing. It went very well with the sauce and the cactus.
