This place was amazing. It was a great experience from the beginning to the end. Food and service was great. I highly recommend this place. Please open a location in Connecticut............
This was our 3rd time at Kelsey’s, but our first at the Sunday Brunch. We went to celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary! The food was absolutely delicious! The shrimp & grits, along with the made to order blueberry pancakes topped with fresh strawberries were my favorites.
We were seated in a private room with several other couples. The atmosphere was welcoming and warm. The wait staff were attentive but not overbearing.
We found there were two other couples celebrating anniversaries; 5 and 18 years. We all took photos to make social media posts declaring our love and to boast about the great food and times we were having at Kelsey’s.
I am an Atlantic City native, raised in Pleasantville, now living in Gloucester Township. We’re only 50 mins away from A.C. and will definitely be back to enjoy fine food and fellowship here at Kelsey’s.

Always have a good experience here, doesn't matter what time we've been. The last two times we were able to enjoy the Saturday Brunch while Randy, our server, provided outstanding service. Even bonded with our son.
The food and the service was great. I had the pork chops, cabbage and mac and cheese, It was delicious.
I had the smothered turkey breast and, Not only was it delicious, have enough for another meal tomorrow! The corn bread, collard greens, and potato salad almost as good as moms!�
Best place for brunch in AC. It’s an all you can eat buffet style setup. The food was amazing the service was good but could’ve been greeted a lil more pleasantly by the hostess but everyone else were courteous so it make it better. They had a live DJ at 11 in the morning playing all the classics & had the mood right. It’s about $40 per person but it’s worth it. We will definitely be back when we come to AC
Good vibes in this place, family friendly. My party had 3 people so we got seated quick and did walk in. Though you can reserve a slot.

WOW WOW....the food was very good and you get a lot. The corn bread 🍞 😋 was mouth watering. The beef ribs were falling of the bone, cook very well. The cat fish bites were a very good starter. And the food only got better from there. A big thanks to Brandon for being a great server.
The entire service was a home run by our server Ray tonight. From start to finish, we had the most amazing experience at Kelseys Atlantic City.
I was ready to start my 5 star review after the corn bread and catfish nugget appetizers and Ray's mastery on the entire establishment, the menu, its owners and the previous establishment at this location. Ray is a true expert and everything we hope to run into when dining out.
The house DJ had a great music selection with early to mid 90s R&B, setting the perfect tone and mood for an impromptu dinner date with my husband.
The portion sizes are very... very large. You will have 2 days of leftovers. We enjoyed short ribs, mac and cheese, cabbage, collard greens, potato salad, and the nights special of crab stuffd shrimp. Definitely sharable portions. And we will be back with family and friends! Thank you 😊!
Food here is always stellar. This was my first time coming when a band was playing and I loved it. Every time I come to AC I'm going to eat here.
In quest of soul food and chose Kelsey's. Dine in experience was nothing less than amazing. Didn't have a reservation so we sat near the bar. Our waitress was friendly, fast and attentive. Our drinks was on point and the food was cook to perfection. Even though it was not enough food for the price BUT you cant beat quality over quantity. Live music was entertaining as well. I will recommend eating here.
I went here for my birthday dinner and i loveddd the food. I got the blackened Salomon & shrimp Alfredo, bang bang shrimp, tequila flight and my friends got fried chicken, baked Mac, yams and greens. EVERYTHING tasted amazing, the hostess was a little rude to my party but nothing major. I would recommend 😋
We came in on a Thursday at 9pm, got seated right away. Guests can sing karaoke, so there was live music the whole time. Old school r&b/soul vibes. I got the blackened salmon which was sooo juicy & tender 😋 black eyed peas & collard greens were both great as well. My man got southern fried chicken, which was just okay because it lacked flavor but the yams were really good if you like your yams sweet! Tasted like they cooked it in natural maple syrup (not corn syrup tho). The potato salad was pretty good too, but nothing to brag about. We didn’t get any drinks but they looked really good. Prices for drinks range between $18-20, or a $30 flight.

Definitely worth the 5 stars, but had to give them 4 due to we were traveling from CT on a bus trip and the lack of communication/consistency on the information as far as reservations go, was told you can book 24 hours in advance?? Website said no reservations needed?? Walk IN's welcome?? and people in my group tried making reservations 30 days in advance...(with no luck) 🤦♀️🤷♀️the line went down the street to get in. But the food & customer service was worth the wait I will visit again and highly recommend you CALL to make reservations to avoid confusion. AMAZING catfish, candied yams, mac n cheese collard greens. Great vibe!
I would give the place 5 stars it was good food and table service. However, when my party of four went there this past Friday, there was a young person walking around offering to take pictures for the pateons to buy. The person offered every table around us but not us. We felt shunned. I hope that it was just an oversight, but it made us feel unseen. Customers of all calibers dine here. Offering them a keepsake should be automatic. It is not unreasonable pricing, but it is definitely not cheap. As a first-time experience, it was disheartening. I would order food there again but not dine in again.
The line outside confirmed what I read prior to visiting.. this place was bomb! There was live music (amazing!) The food was delicious, and our waiter (Ray) was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back.
Great experience and night out to me. The long line outside was worth it. Good service and great soul food and it didn’t take long. Everything thing was delicious, chicken wings were hot and well seasoned, loved the Mac and cheese. Drinks were also delicious. Live band was playing that night, I like the vibes of Kelsey’s. I highly recommend, it’s a easy 10/10 for me. Would definitely be back.

It was good to see African American men walking around and waiting on everyone. The atmosphere is awesome. Service is second to none + it's black ⚫️ owned. A must place to eat when you visit Atlantic City, NJ
Went for Sunday soul food brunch buffet.The buffet could have been placed a little closer to the tables.Took the waiters some time to get to our table.I enjoyed the food.The cost was very affordable.
The atmosphere was inviting with a dj setting a nice vibe. The buffet consisted of a variety of hot and delicious foods. Our waitress was wonderful, and the "whipped" up cherry Pepsi was on point. This was the most satisfying meal before hitting the highway back to Michigan. This will be among my first stop when I return to this area.
