I love this place! I feel so lucky that my office is in a building where the one restaurant there is amazing. They have the best soups in the city and all the food is affordable. Even if I didn't work in the same office building, I would make it a point to regularly visit Cafe Maxim.
A few weeks ago, one of my coworkers convinced me to give this restaurant another chance. Previously I had decided not to go to this establishment because of the bad service I felt like I received on numerous occasions. Today I am leaving this review because I no longer believe that the food is safe
It's fine. The chicken tortilla soup is killer. The rest is pretty good. It's a simple joint to grab food at a reasonable price next to my office. It's more of a convenience than a special dining experience but it's fine.
