Campus Cuisine Inc

Dear Kathryn, I have been lunchroom supervisor for our school for 8 years. Until this year the meals were basically the same offerings from the same caterers. I started investigating options in the fall of 2017 and came across Campus Cuisine in my search. This seemed perfectly suited to our needs. The prices at so many other options were much higher than we wanted our families to have to pay. We liked that we can use local businesses of our choosing to provide our meals.These businesses are our "neighbors" and it is wonderful to be able to support them. The meals are very good - the students have not complained about the food quality once this year. Additionally we have international students here that have their meals included in their tuition. They did tire over the years of the same offerings so the many choices provided each day from the Campus Cuisine program appeal to them - as well as the rest of the student body. We have students with varying dietary restrictions that in previous years prohibited them from being able to order Hot Lunch - the options offered through Campus Cuisine serve to alleviate any issues for them. Another bonus that is working out quite well under the Campus Cuisine system is being able to order or cancel an order 24 hours in advance. Our previous system required ordering a month ahead and cancellations were not possible. The Campus Cuisine system provides money saving advantages to parents due to the ability to order or change orders with one day notice. Lastly, though we have had very few problems as this new system was implemented - when we did have a concern Kathryn was responsive and worked with the caterers to get the issue resolved wonderfully. Campus Cuisine saved the day!! My son is a bit of a picky eater, and when at school doesn't always eat his entire lunch. By the end of his school day, not eating a protein-rich lunch can affect his concentration, mood and energy-level. He has asked many times that I order from Campus Cuisine, but I wasn't sure he would actually eat what I ordered. Last week I took a chance and ordered Moe's and his favorite steak burrito. He likes it plain, and without notification to the restaurant to omit additional ingredients in the burrito, I wasn't sure if he would eat it. I reached out to Kathryn Kreimer the owner of Campus Cuisine. She quickly corresponded with me to see what could be done for my son, to accommodate his need. I am happy to report that after working with our local restaurant, she is able to make an additional line item to order his favorite lunch!! This kind gesture was not expected, but what a great opportunity to make a kids day! I am so glad that I reached out to see if our needs could be met. My faith in local business owners has never wavered, as they do take the time to listen to our needs, and make adjustments if necessary. Thank you again Campus Cuisine!!
