Bismillah Chinese & Grill

Bismillah Grill is another little surprise on Buford Highway. Note this is not the same as Bismillah Cafe which is also on Buford Highway and also serves Bangladeshi food. This eatery is relatively new, serves classic Bangladeshi dishes as well and Bangladeshi Chinese dishes. If there's one dish you absolutely must try here, it's the Beef Kala Bhuna. It is mind-blowing. The meat is slow cooked with onions and spices and has a rich flavor. They do not serve this with rice so you need to order that extra or just get it to go and make some rice at home. We also tried their Chicken Chili.It was good but not great. The Kebabi Morog was pretty good. It is very mildly spiced and kind of sweet so if you cannot handle spice this would be a good dish to order. We also had their Beef Tehari which is basically a rice dish cooked with beef and a lot of Ghee. It's delicious and again not spicy, if you need a non spicy option. Note you can always ask them to turn the spice down when you order and they can make it to your taste but I feel the Kala Bhuna tastes better with the regular spice level. They also serve mango lassi which isn't the best I have had but still pretty good. The place seems to be run by two very hard-working women. They are super nice. The lady who takes your order is warm and always smiling. Whenever you take out, they pack it really well with plastic wraps so it does not spill or leak. There is limited seating inside and the place is pretty clean. Definitely recommend.

Amazing new restaurant with GREAT service! Great combination of Bengali, Chinese, Thai, Indian food which never fails my taste buds! The restaurant has a very cute atmosphere and every one working there are very polite and provides excellent customer service! Thank God they use UberEats for delivery too for those lazy days, you don't want to drive! Highly recommend this place!

The service was okay. They could have explained how they worked better as we sat around assuming that they were rude and hadn't served us even water but we finally noticed the condiment table on the way to the bathroom. We were not served for some time as they assumed we only wanted appetizers. They did however redeem themselves in the end. And the food, like the Alu paratha, was freshly made and very tasty.

The foods are not fresh they keep food for days warm and give you. It happened to me more than 3 times specially if you order beryany not fresh at all. It was ok at the beginning when the owner was working there .Right now there are two guys working there they don't even what they are doing. I don't recommend it at all.

The Chinese/Bengali menu was certainly an interesting twist on familiar flavors. The food was great, cooked with aromatic spices and delicate care. We had the Kachchi Biryani and the Chili Chicken. While there was not as much meat as other places that share a similar menu, both were delicious. Bismallah Grill offers a home-cooked experience for those willing to try something different, yet so comforting.
