Excellent tacos and the mulita is an absolute must! I recommend the carne-asada taco and the chorizo mulita - seriously get that mulita! My new favorite Mexican restaurant! The hot sauce that comes with chips or as an optional side is crazy hot! I’m a fan of the heat, and medium is plenty hot! The staff is really friendly, however they don’t take Amex which is why this gets 4 out of 5 stars...annoying.

If you are looking for possibly the best tacos in Atlanta this is the place to go. The restaurant is a relatively small locally owned taco shop just outside of downtown and has an amazing vibe. They have an amazingly comfortable outdoor sitting set up and the vibe of the whole restaurant is very laid back and comfy. The decorations and set up really go a long way at making this Taco shop so unique. The service was quick and the food was fantastic. I ordered a barbacoa mulita, a chicken taco, and a chorizo taco. The barbacoa and the chorizo were incredibly seasoned, and were so tender they practically melted like butter in my mouth. The flavors all worked so well together to make a fantastic orchestra of tastes. The chicken unfortunately was quite dry and flavorless though. It really made me regret ordering it instead of another chorizo or barbacoa dish. The plating of the food was also underwhelming. I think they could have done a better job of making the food look more appealing and give it that extra pizzazz. For those reasons, I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars.

We went to El Tesoro on a Sunday afternoon. The place was busy but the line to order moved quickly. Staff was very friendly. Its very covid world friendly with plenty of outdoor, spaced-out, covered seating. Our margaritas were ready within minutes and we really enjoyed them. The food also came out quickly. We had the guacamole, tacos, burrito, and churros. Prices were fair and we thought the food was excellent. We would recommend this place.
