Tin Drum Asian Kitchen

Tin-drum in general is a good pan-asian food joint. mid-way to being a fast food/ Restaurant. prices reflect that mix as well. fresh food and quite flavorful. Glad i found this particular location. Their Penang curry and singapore chowmein are fabulous - i always have the basil fried rice, this place made a very good one.

Love the staff at this location! We go relatively frequently and I always get the same dish (with a few modifications, I’m picky, haha). Today, I picked up my order and noticed when I got home that I got the regular version. I called just to see if they might be able to fix it (I would’ve been ok if not) and they were more than happy to give me a brand new dish. I always feel bad and awkward when something isn’t as I ordered it, but the staff never made me feel weird and in fact were nothing but kind to me. They remade my order correctly in just a few minutes (despite being busy) and were very courteous. In my opinion this is kind of rare in customer service but I’ve never had a bad experience here and tonight reaffirmed that. So, I am sorry for being annoying, but thank you for the great food and great service! The staff who was on this evening 11-15 around 7:30pm all deserve some major kudos. As far as food - Our faves are the Singapore Curry Chow Mein (with added spice) and the Fried Potstickers.

This was my first experience with Tin Drum Asian Kitchen, I was a little confused by the menu I really didn't know what to choose from so upon ordering I asked the cashier about a certain dish that look pretty good that I wanted to try. So I ended up getting the Thai Basil Fried Rice with fried chicken and it was delicious, they also gave me some teriyaki sauce on the side if I decided to put it on my rice bowl. They're a little bit on the pricey side but definitely worth it so check it out if you're in the North Druid Hills area.

The service was top-notch. We were given a run-down of the menu - what was popular, what was not too spicy, what taste good, and what others recommended. He was honest and transparent. He even offered some dishes he wasn't a fan of but thought we might like them. My son enjoyed their boba tea a lot. He ordered the brown sugar pearl and loved it. We also ordered the tokyo crinkcle fries which were good and are a nice side dish. I wanted something light so I ordered the chicken lettuce wrap which was a perfect size for what I wanted. I didn't get to finish it because I was getting full off the fries. We ordered a koreano sandwich, chinatown lo mein, sweet and savory sesame, and the thai basil fried rice. Everything was delicious. The portion sizes are good for the price. And, I love that they offer many vegetarian options.
