I've been twice in the past 3 months or so, the cocktails are excellent, food is great and the decor is nice. There is a very nice bar, great to eat at if that's your thing. The chef is great, she is innovative with both vegetable and meat dishes, using interesting flavor combinations in both types of dishes. Portion size is good for sharing. We left very satisfied on both trips and look forward to going back again soon.

Great atmosphere for drinks and sitting outdoors.
Love trendy places like this for a good happy hour and catching up with friends. I had a mezcal cocktail which you don't see often in Atlanta.
In terms of food, I love the small menu and think the ideas are great. In practice, it was a bit oily and my salmon was a bit undercooked. However, overall I would say it's a good choice. Great tastes overall - get the fried peppers and cheese plate!!
I will definitely come back here again!

Last Word is extraordinary. Everything is done well, yet not over done. The cocktails and menu items are nicely curated for exceptional flavors. The service is professional, well informed and friendly without any pretense. The space is instantly comfortable and attractive.

Great cocktail program!

Bernard and Angel are awesome. Angel gave great recommendations. Although one of our drinks were delivered incorrectly due to miscommunication, Bernard came to apologize, brought a glass of sparkling as we waited, and was very attentive. Hard to find service of that level anymore. Thank you Bernard!

Went to Last Word for a 7:30 reservation on a Friday night and the place was relatively empty when we got there, so we sat at the bar while waiting for the rest of our party and had a drink from their signature cocktail menu, which are all Mediterranean/Middle Eastern influenced versions of the classics. I had the Good Samaritan, a dryer take on the Old Fashioned and it was very solid and got the evening off to a great start.
Service was excellent throughout the whole experience, from getting a reservation to paying the bill, the staff went out of their way to make sure we were accommodated and in the best of care. Big shout out to the hostess Jackie who went above and beyond her duties and collaborated with our waiter to truly make the evening that much better.
The food was very good and we tried most of the menu with the only issue being some of the "large" plates didn't size up with the price tag, specifically the scallop/shrimp dish. Otherwise everyone enjoyed the food, especially the pea soup, rabbit liver pate, and the lamb's belly shawarma.
The restaurant is on the smaller side so keep in mind when placing a reservation but their food is great and service is excellent. A spot to check out, especially when it's from the makers of Woodford Grille.
