Stem's Cafe

I finally got the chance to stop by this place. A mom & pop style restaurant with down home south cooking. Open everyday til 2pm. Small but big in flavor. So this is not a sit down place it’s to go only. I got the salmon patty with grits, eggs, and biscuit. And also the shrimp, sausage, and peppers over grits plate (can’t remember the name). The salmon was meaty and good flavor with a kick. The shrimp plate could have used some more shrimp but the sausage was a little over cooked but it remind me of gma cooking. I would return and the prices are reasonable. Especially since they are not adding that service charge and 20% gratuity on top of the bill like some other places that serve the same food but less in quality

This is some of the best food AND customer service I have experienced in a long time. Clean and friendly environment. Not a sit-down restaurant but great for picking up a high quality meal and enjoying your day. I could swear there was a sun-dried heirloom tomato on my fish po boy! (Big piece of fish!) The sweet potato fries are also delicious. I was running late to an appointment nearby and couldn’t contain my excitement to run back inside and thank them for the incredible meal! I’ll be back!!! Worth every dollar. I’m ready to try breakfast. Thank y’all again! Sorry for not posting a photo, I ate it too fast

It could very well just be who I am pertaining to the great service and scrumptiously delicious food I receive each time I visit. I love supporting black owned businesses and this is a staple in this part of SouthWest Atlanta which is known as BenHill.
