International Seafood

Walked in for the first time to smell seafood cooking and it was smelling good so I had a look around and asked if they cooked it to make sure. They said if I buy, they fry lol. I ordered the sea trout and shrimp n fries. It didn't take long to cook and was pretty good with sauces. I'll try the grouper next time. 😊 There is quite a selection to choose from here.😊

I couldn't identify if the Shrimp I ordered tasted extremely ocean-y (actually more like a chlorine swimming pool,) or like some sort of dish detergent, as if it was prepared in a pan that hadn't completely been rinsed after washing. My 16 yo asked me if I'd noticed the soapy taste before I had a chance to ask her.. I am not the finicky or nitpicky type in the least, but this taste wasnt subtle. We didnt finish it. I spent a considerable amount of money just to throw it away. Maybe it was an isolated incident. I only went here because I saw it was under new management.. the one time I went a few years back, I was disgusted by the rancid smell and the overall vibe and demeanor of the staff. On the plus side, it is cleaner and brighter than it was under the previous management and I liked the young lady behind the counter.

They have really friendly and good customer service and I just discovered them a few months ago. I’ve been several times and the fresh fish fried to perfection is bomb especially the ocean perch! But I recently bought crab legs to take home to steam myself and discovered hair all over the outside of the cluster. I’ve never seen anything like this before. Never seen hair on a crab cluster in all my 20+ years of eating crab! 😳😩

I mourn the days of old where you could go into a fresh seafood market and they actually sold fresh good seafood. I am over trying to find a good seafood place in GA! I ordered four croaker and was given what looked to be strips of butchered fish. My shrimp was blah, fries unsatisfactory, and the okra battered down.
