Just happened by this place escaping traffic. The owner took my order and then told me it would be 10 minutes until it was ready (I was the only person in the store at this time). He prepared my cheesesteak like a hibachi chef.

I just had The Works and it was great! Service was excellent, very friendly and welcoming. My sandwich was made fresh, right in front of me while I sat in a cute little booth and watched TV. I ordered a cheese chicken to go for my son.
The mushroom beef Philly cheesesteak is the best sandwich I’ve had. You can also ask for it to be halal! He really takes his time with each sandwich. The owner has been working at his shop for over 15 years! And the quality of his food has never changed. The updated health review was a 94! He’s Phil
Order the chicken tender salad , originally wanted the seafood one but they were out of fish … the salad was still good and well seasoned only thing it needed was a more variety of ingredients . It only has carrots lettuce and tomato .

This is my go-to philly spot. The spicy chicken and mushroom philly is my favorite but you can’t go wrong with any of them. It’s fresh every time and the server is so sweet! If you’re in the area check it out!

Food is killer. The guy making it is kind of abrasive, but it adds to the atmosphere, so I'm digging it. I ordered a regular "The Works" with pepperjack, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Mexican CocaCola is a plus. Gotta love actual cane sugar in my diabetes juice!
