Went here tonight for the very first time with my college friend. Great customer service and didn't wait to long for the food to arrive. Had tried the crunchy tuna and salmon rolls. It was my first time ever having sushi 🍣. And also got the fried rice.

Had an amazing time and loved the atmosphere and food! It was a bit small and very busy. The customer service was good but not enough staff!! It was super busy but our bridal party enjoyed our meet and greet lunch! One of my daughter's favorite spots!

Had an amazing experience at East Atlanta Thai and sushi this week with my family. Our waitress Love was absolutely incredible and had some of the best customer service I have experienced in a while. She made sure we well taken care of and remained patient even with our picky eaters. The food was okay, I recommend getting spicy basil fried rice for more flavor. The Thai tea is amazing though. I will definitely be back.

The food is soooooo good! Best Pad Thai I’ve had in a while. The drinks are strong and delicious. Be patient with your server it appears they handle the whole restaurant alone but even with him being busy I still felt we got good service for a busy Saturday night!

I’ve eaten here twice, and the experience has been favorable. Both times were a little awkward walking in. There is no actual waiting area, so you’re standing in front of the door as others walk in and out. It took a minute for us to have our order taken, but once it was placed, the food came out with lightening speed. I had the Thai basil rolls and seaweed salad, and my husband’s favorite is the Thai fried rice with chicken. It’s ALL delicious. No complaints about the food or the friendly staff. I’ll definitely return if I’m in the area.

Love love love this place. The margarita is so on point. The food was great and my server was the bomb. I can't recall his name right now but as soon as I remember I will update this review. The ambiance was everything. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this place. Even though I went on V day it was such a pleasant experience.

Nice, casual spot in East Atlanta. I’ve had the pleasure of visiting twice- once for lunch and once for dinner. The first time I tried the pad Thai with shrimp and it was tasty. The second time I tried massaman curry with shrimp and brown rice. The curry was pretty good but a little on the sweet side. It also had green peas which was different. One of my friends tried their sushi and said it was good as well. The drinks are always good and the staff is always friendly.

I've been going here over 10 years! Hector is my only waiter for every visit! I have never had a bad piece of food or drink here! The margaritas are bomb 💣 and the food is more bomb 💣! You will never be disappointed and you'll come back over and over!!

Love it here! Nice music, great server who was nice and personable (Latino male) I forgot his name due to good cocktails but he was WONDERFUL. I'll be back!

Had the drunken noodles and the spring rolls- both were good, but the spring rolls were surprisingly good. The frozen marg was ok, a little syrupy for my taste but I'm picky. No salted rim- nothing special. The portion for the drunken noodles was quite large and I split it with someone. It was a nice atmosphere as far as ambience, but it was LOUD. We went on a Saturday night, so it might be different other days. The server was polite but nothing further. Smelled like someone was smoking weed nearby- didn't bother us- I mean it's EAV, but something yo be aware of if you're sensitive.

Love this place! Been going here since 2009 and have seen it go through changes but overall it has remained true to the cuisine. The I Hate You/Yummi Yummi roll was the first roll I EVER tried and fell in love with it. STRONG margs as well! If you can, go for the sushi specials on Mon/Tues, it won’t disappoint!

To put it bluntly, the frozen margarita will have you walking out sideways. It is STRONG and will hit you fast! Great drink and food selection! Sushi is great too. Large servings. I split the sweet & sour pork with someone and it was plenty. Service is excellent. It's in a hip neighborhood, East Atlanta Village (EAV) so I definitely recommend walking around the neighborhood.

I had a terrible experience at another restaurant and instead of writing a bad review about that one I decided to write a good review about this one. It is very well-designed a little bit dark if you're looking for one of my only found flaws-otherwise the sushi is always fantastic very fresh void of any noticeable MSG. Wide variety of options and a great service. I have only eaten there for lunch and will continue to do so sometimes three times a week.

This place is usually crowded due to it's great location, but the Thai and the sushi are delicious and the service is good. A winner in EAV. :)

Not sure what is happening with the sushi chef, but things have gone downhill DRASTICALLY. We always get the same roll, and it has gotten progressively worse. Initially it had whole scallops and real crabmeat. This last time, they were using fake krab and there were perhaps 2 scallops total sliced so thin they were practically shaved. The rolls are sloppy and the presentation not very nice. On the positive side, Izabel is a fantastic server.

The Best Kept Secret for Thai:. I was recently visiting my friend from LA and she took me to EAV Thai and Sushi... The little neighborhood (East Atlanta Village) is such a great community.

Upon entry EAV Thia and Sushi I saw the restaurant was full of people which helped increase my anticipation of my meal. I started off with a glass of wine (which they have several to pick from) and moved on to the sushi. I'm not a big fan of sushi and the waitress did not mind all of my questions.

I settled for the Volcano roll with the Thai Wings to start. The Wings were huge and the Volcano Roll was picture perfect.

Overall the prices were not that expensive and the service was great. If you're ever in the area, I definitely suggest that you stop in.

Enjoy!

Needs a health inspection.. We came for lunch at 11:50 and the restaurant looked as if a typhoon had hit it. There was food all over the floor. Tables had not been wiped down yet. All of this from the previous evening, obviously because they open at 11:30. We had to ask for everything. Water, soy sauce, a plate for the soy sauce (since we ate sushi), refills. The waiter broke a glass candle holder and only picked up the big pieces. He left behind all the small remnants that could easily have become lodged in your shoes. It was perhaps the filthiest restaurant we have ever eaten in. When we left at 12:30, there was still food under tables and the entire staff was hanging out in the kitchen. As a long time customer this will be our last visit. If they treat the front of the house like that, can you imagine how they treat their kitchen? The food was mediocre, with my fried egg being way overcooked on my Bangkok rice.

The perfect spot for Lunch, Dinner, or just Sushi. I come here often with my friends and business partners for a great bite to eat. The taste is always consistent and the service is impeccable.

I also have a special shootout for the bartender "Sky" that always wears a smile. So, if you're in East Atlanta Village, be sure to stop by and support.

Dinner Feb. 12, 2012. Easy to find, full of 20 something hipsters, most tables were full. The service was awful. It took long to get our order, get our drinks, get our food, and get our one returned dish because of the waiter's mistake. Then it took forever for the bill and to get it paid. The food was ok. Would have been better if it had been hot instead of lukewarm. Prices were right, atmosphere was good. We won't be returning though.

Superb! I don't live near East Atlanta, but we happened to be in that part of town and gave this restaurant a try. Everything was excellent, including the coconut and miso soups, the spicy veggies, and green curry. Wait staff was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely go back the next time we are in the area.

Great food. Best chicken Pad Thai I have had in awhile. Friendly staff as well.

Best fried rice in ATL. I can't believe I've not written a review on this place; I get takeout from there at least once a week. I always order the Thai fried rice w/ the "spicy" on the side. I've sampled a few other menu items, the Thai wings are very flavorful; however, I don't like the big steroid-injected wings. I love it; if I weren't concerned with my health I'd eat the fried rice every day.

Great!. The food is great, though be careful if you ask for hot. The last time I did, the waitress entered the order as "super spicy". I downed almost a gallon of water with the meal. Prices are on par with other Thai places i've visited.

My two favorites in one spot...Thai and Sushi. Excellent.

Overall, I would have to say that I really enjoyed my time at EAV Thai & Sushi and can't wait to go back. Everything from the food, to the service, to the bold decor made my experience a great one.
