This Papa John's was pretty decent clean and workers were friendly. Picked up a Jack-o-lantern pizza and I was impressed. I've seen quite a number of fails but my kids enjoyed this pizza. Ordered two pizzas and both were cooked well and toppings were done well!
The staff is always very kind. They just seem woefully understaffed. Pizzas are usually decent but not the best I've ever had from Papa Johns.
There was only one yes just 1 employee and he was rockin it! He was making pizzas, waiting on customers, busting his a$$. And he was on top of it. No one waited for more than a minute of two. He was nice polite and had a great attitude. No complaining - he was just getting it done.
Was in and out quickly, order was accurate, and service was friendly. They always have pretty good deals if you order online/through the app or have a coupon code, and the pizza/sides are tasty and adequate. This location is on a divided highway, so if you're traveling NE on Buford Hwy, you have to drive past it and make a U-turn. Note that if you are picking up carryout on a weekday afternoon or early evening, traffic is pretty intense around this area...would not recommend doing that.
I work at a different store. People need to realise that on a busy day, you are not the only person who is ordering. We have to take 2-3 orders at a time when its busy and its not always to your next door neighbours! So when you order on a Saturday at 5 PM, give the store and drivers slack. We are doing our best. Treat us with respect and we will always do the same.
Great pickup experience. App has an $8 large one topping carryout option that's been around for a while. App said 30 minutes, but it was ready in about 15 minutes. Got a notification, headed inside, and picked up my pizza 🍕.
