One of my favorite places in Midtown for a quick bite. Service is good, food comes relatively quick, and their trivia on Wednesday nights is fun. I usually order the OG 3 piece chicken but have recently been replacing with the 4 piece tofu, which is just as good — if not better — than the chicken. Portions are a good size.
This place was amazing. I was here during the Halloween weekend for AWA. The BBQ chicken tenders were one of the best I've had. I was really pleased that they also carried Organic ketchup. Good to see that Heinz isn't having a monopoly with the ketchup here in this restaurant. The fries were good too and I really enjoyed the Matcha lemonade as well. Just wish they had free refills for that as well. Only thing that was mid was the potato salad. I had to mix that with my chickens and fries since it was cold and not too flavorful. I would highly recommend the chicken tender combo though it was a decent price for the meal. I figured I would want more tenders but I was actually surprised that 5 pieces easily filled me up. 5/5 I would definitely come back here the next time I'm in Atlanta. I hope they consider opening up some locations up north in New York, Jersey or in PA. This would give bonchon a run for their money.
Really nice staff with great customer service and good communication.
I ordered the kamikaze fries, and they were SO GOOD. don’t put ketchup on them… it’d be a crime.
The cole slaw and fried onions add enough sauce for the fries.
The double battered fries are ultra crunchy and satisfying. The chicken was in a category all it’s own. So good.

4th stop on the bar crawl. I'll be back to try a more of the menu. But I had the spicy og tacos and they were good. Interesting chicken lol I thought it was fish. But they were good. The drinks were good. The staff was great and full of energy.
First time trying Ponko chicken. Wow! Chicken tastes amazing. And service was great. Very friendly, attentive, and made my first visit very enjoyable. You don’t find much good customer service like this post pandemic. Very pleased and will be back.
This place is soooo good! We tried Ponko chicken at a food truck in Macon, we fell in love with the food so much that the taste and aroma was stuck with us. So much so that we had to drive to the nearest location just to have another taste here in Atlanta! Upon arrival, management has been beyond kind, the staff is super attentive and once again the food was immaculate. We will definitely be coming back, Thank you Ponko!!! Do yourself a favor and try the best chicken in town!
This is low key one of the best chicken spots in Atlanta. I had the chicken tenders which are a 12 out of 10 any flavor. I must say I've been in Atlanta since 2008 and I have never been shown so much LOVE. The entire staff was AWESOME. I actually met them all 😂The drinks are amazing and if Mark is at the bar I'm sure you'll be more than satisfied. The food was fresh and fast and flavorful. The vibe was great. It's not the chain restaurant that it appears to be, Nah not at all, this is that Atlanta restaurant that makes you feel like family. A must stop by if you're visiting or if you live in the area.A+++++
This place was a great idea and excellent execution. The chicken was delicious, as claimed, and the fries are very good. They did not go easy on the sauce either, which I appreciate. My only gripe is that I wish the portions were bigger for the price, but quality was still great. Would definitely love to come back and try their other items, but the Ponko Chicken was fantastic. The Ponko rice bowl brunch meal was okay; I would say stick with the classics for this one.
Went here to try the vegan options, my husband and I both got the tofu tenders and 2 sides. Tofu tenders and very well fried with lots of breading, spicy isn't that spicy, which is great and the BBQ has tons of sauce.
I got the green beans which were super weird, I think it's supposed to be like a green bean casserole, but the gravy is odd, not bad but if I go back I'll get something different. Huge portion of the best sweet potato fries I've ever had, these guys know how to fry stuff. Next time I will get the rice and island veggies with BBQ tenders. The rice was soft sticky rice perfectly cooked.
Make sure to ask for the ranch, server said it was vegan.
The cashier was friendly but even though they're weren't busy it took a while for food to come out. Not cheap, but good! Lots of indoor and outdoor seating also.
A fun place with good food. The staff here are awesome and very friendly. Had the 5 piece dinner with sticky rice and a cookie. Very good.
