Convenient location with easy access by MARTA and plenty of parking if you decide to drive. The food is premade so you can walk up to the hot bar and select your entree and sides. They have a broad range of options with some rotating daily. I ordered the pork chop meal (which came with two) candied yams and broccoli. The pork chops tasted great, but were as tough as leather. Grab a knife and proceed, because it's worth it. The sides were cooked perfectly and were well seasoned. The mini cornbread loaf was the perfect compliment to the meal. The lines can be long on Sundays, so come prepared to wait. The wait was an hour on my visit. The ladies working behind the counter were super pleasant and had patience while I figured out what I wanted. There is plenty of seating should you decide to dine in. There wasn't any table service, which in my opinion was not a bad thing.

If the soul food joint doesn't have black art, then it's not going to hit!!! Mac& Cheese was my favorite! Definitely was packed in there but worth the wait.

This spot was super busy on a Sunday. I waited for an hour in the line and I can honestly say they kept the food coming! Now, I didnโ€™t get to try the turkey wings like I intended (out), but I wasnโ€™t really impressed with the other food I ordered. Baked chicken was super overcooked and mushy and not seasoned at all. The neck bones were baked and a bit dry, I prefer my too be wet. Customer service was friendly at least, I know they work hard back there which is why I only took one star!

Today I wanted soul food, went to one spot my spirit said no. I googled soul food again and A1 Soul Food came up and the reviews had me curious. Got to the restaurant asked a lady in the parking lot about the food OMG I didn't know what to get at first but these are the pictures from my husband and my plate with sides. You have to get the peach cobbler to top it off. Whew I'm already forwarding your information to my family in Georgia and I will drive 2 hours for another meal. Couldn't stay in and eat had to go back to the hotel so we could get situated. Hats off to whoever made the peach cobbler, it brought back memories of my grandmother's homemade cobbler.

Rating: 5/5 Customer Service: 3/5 Food: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Price 5/5 I ordered the beef stew with rice, all of there meals comes with two sides and cornbread. The sides were really good ๐Ÿ˜Š the rice and gravy was okay It just wasnโ€™t seasoned enough for me. The cornbread was really good. Be mindful this place do be really crowded so be patient. Overall I would recommend and I would come back

There was a line but they kept it moving rather quickly! I found this Black owned gem by accident and soo glad I did. Huge portions and seasoned good and the price is very competitive! I would recommend and I will be back

Great food, quick service, and nice clean establishment Angel cashed me out and was extremely patient and pleasant. Sheโ€™s able to handle lots of customers in a fast manner , I noticed. I ordered the baked chicken with cornbread dressing (not stuffing), โ€œbakedโ€ Mac n cheese, and it came with a free piece of cornbread. Every single item was delicious and it was very well priced. (All under $10!!!) Bonus: Not 100% sure but it appears to be a black owned establishment

The food is always delicious. The downside is the neighborhood where itโ€™s located and the workers inside. There are always people loitering and bothering you as you walk inside. Once inside, there is always, always a long line. The workers are rude and impatient when you order. If you can get past that then you have some delicious, savory food to enjoy.

Recently 11/19/23 ๐ŸŒŸ ๐ŸŒŸ ๐ŸŒŸ ๐ŸŒŸ This is in addition to previous post. 3rd time was a charm. The food was very good I had baked turkey wings with rice and and string beans and Collard Greens and the delicious cornbread got 2 this time. I must say the atmosphere of workers were much better definitely different people from b4 they were working hard and had great attitudes and was very patient ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฟ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿฟ ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ. The vibes with customers in line was very nice everyone talking laughing with each other. The wait was long but that's to be expected considering it was Sunday after church. I'm sure I will visit again bcuz my sister enjoys coming here.๐ŸŒ 1 month ago ๐ŸŒŸ 1st let me say i only come here bcuz my sister likes it and she always treat me to eat. My 2nd time coming here both times workers are rude and be rushing you attitudes terrible. The food minimal and lil pricey not quality doesn't seem fresh and small portions and not a lot to choose from. I had baked turkey wings they were seasoned ok skin a lil tough kale and lima beans bland the best part was the cornbread and im not a bread person but cornbread was really good. The workers arguing with customer bcuz he wanted fresh meat coming out. Very disappointing try to support black owned business but I personally wont be patronizing spending my own money here only came bcuz my sister treating me. This place has bad vibes and energy for me. As a business owner please take into consideration your customers comments to do better you have people spending time and money with your establishment show GRAND customer service. All thumbs down for me ๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿคจ๐Ÿคจ
