While walking around Edgewood looking at all the beautiful street art murals, we got hungry and decided to drop into Edgewood Pizzeria to have lunch, and am I glad we did! We ordered the basil pesto pizza, and it was so delicious. I didn’t realize there was chicken on it when I ordered, but it was so good. The restaurant seemed to do a lot of take out as well.
Midday Saturday. Watched pizza being made. Took awhile but he put a lot of care into each pizza. Excellent veggie. Piles of fresh veggies like red peppers. Sauce was different and very good.
It's fine honestly, the pizza and calzone me and my partner ordered was delicious.
The only thing that keeps me from giving Edgewood a 5 star is the online ordering/waiting 15-20 minutes and lack of payment options when actually placing the order.
Considering the location, basically at the corner of Boulevard and Edgewood Ave, you'd think your order would be immediately ready but we had to wait anywhere between 15-20 minutes while blocking a bike lane which I don't want to do, however parking is at a premium and fairly limited in the area.
At any rate the food was solid and I would recommend it of you're enjoying the Edgewood bar scene.
We stumbled upon this pizza shop while visiting the MLK Jr site in Atlanta. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced! I was very impressed with the pizza toppings offered. The Greek salad was excellent. Everything was cooked perfectly!
Really delicious pizza!! Pepperoni was a bit salty, the basil and tomato pizza was the best. Artwork and hip hop music added to the very cool atmosphere. I specified thin crust. We headed home on bicycles and ate on the rooftop lounge at home.
Edgewood Pizzeria is one the local haunts of classic Edgewood! Regardless of the scene or the block's energy, it stands the tests of time with Great Pizza, Amazing Energy & Playful Essence from their Team, and Artwork that will have you in deep thinking for the entire slice of pizza assuming you got the King Slice!
Don't get me started on the Mozzarella Sticks here either, they're an lighter alternative if you don't want pizza this time!
I recommend the pizza topped with pineapple, sundried tomatoes, and feta cheese & a Buffalo & BBQ Drizzle!
I am a frequent visitor at Edgewood Pizza. There’s not a time I haven’t visited my favorite pizza spot and wasn’t treated great. Easter the bartender and server is awesome. Her personality and customer service is amazing. I would advise anyone who’s in search of a great pizza spot, to go visit the one and only Edgewood Pizza and ask for Easter❤️🥰
Delicious pizza! Everything on the menu is pretty good. I recently left my debit card behind. I was called and able to come back and get it.
The pizza it's make on time!And it's really good! The soundtrack and the decor it's very nice! We had good time!

Best pizza spot in Atlanta, hands down. Bob, the owner, is a very nice guy. Pizza is fresh from the time of order. You're not getting any soggy pizza here. And you can order a draaaank!!! And adult beverage of choice. Love this spot.
I'm constantly looking for good pizza in Atlanta and Edgewood didn't disappoint. As a former New Yorker I enjoy a simple slice of cheese pizza that's big enough to fold and that's exactly what I got. Looking forward to going back.

I ended up at Edgewood Pizza on Valentine's Day. Don’t ask me how or why but I wanted some pizza and more importantly I wanted some GOOD Pizza!
Upon walking in, I was excited to see that Edgewood Pizza wasn’t crowded. Listen! If you know this place you know it is always rocking. In any case, we took a seat at the bar and were greeted by the bartender. She smiled and welcomed us in. She advised that she was the only one working and to please bear with her. Her delivery of the message was so genuine that we were willing to wait.
I ordered a half cheese half pepperoni pizza and fries. Allow me to say this! I have no idea what kind of salt they put on these fries but OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!! These fried were amazingggggggg. LoL!!
The pizza was perfectly made. It had the crispy edges, fully melted cheese, well done but not overdone center, and perfectly seasoned. Oh my gosh. This pizza never disappoints. The pepperoni was meaty and had crunchy edges!! This was Love in Pie form. LoL!!
Though the bartender was the only employee and had to maintain the tables and bar, her service was stellar. She didn’t allow the frustration of being alone to reflect in her delivery of service. Thank you to her for being amazing and providing stellar customer service. Thank you to the cook as well for being able to maintain all the orders and still make an amazing pie.
Overall, it goes without saying that I will be back.
