Big Daddy's Southern Cuisine

First visit! I had the dark meat fried chicken, broccoli rice casserole, and the turnip greens. Everything was tasty and not salty at all. My party all enjoyed their meals as well. Service was quick, and questions were answered politely. Several tables so you can take a group here for lunch if they have a taste for some yummy southern cuisine!

Amazing and delicious food, tasted like home cooking. We were a group of seven that went there after a meeting, it was our first time there and we all ordered a different plate. I ordered the catfish, it was so delicious, it was fried right when I ordered. Other plates ordered we ox tail, bbq ribs, meat loaf, it was all great. The service was awesome, southern hospitality.

Food is good! Prices are great! Staff is cool. Price to park isn't bad for downtown location. 1st time having a jerk Turkey wing! Cornbread is amazing. I would've gave 5 stars but I ask the cashier & she asked a lady mgr about the flavor of the chocolate cake NO ONE knew & I never got an answer. They were too concerned w/a lady whom was complaining about her Red Velvet cake being too dry for $4 a slice. I took that as a sign to leave the cake alone & eat the food.

First time visit and loved this place! Super friendly staff and different restaurant atmosphere. Food was really good and the selection options are many and overwhelming at first. Lots of main entree and endless side options ... All look super tasty. Take your time on your initial visit to understand what they have and ask if your not sure. I had the smoothered pork chop (bone-in), Mac & Cheese, Collards and Sweet Corn Bread. Have dined at allot of southern food places in the area and Big D's is one of the best. Glad I found it and definitely planning another lunch visit to try their other mains and sides.

Smiling faces and warm welcomes greet you #first, then the line of southern choices that's hard to choose from.. I had jerk turkey leg, greens, mashed potatoes & beef gravy & of course corn bread. Best Almond Palmer too 😋😋😋😋 Yeah I had to be wheeled out my stomach was too happy😄 prices are affordable all that for $7💋 your welcome🌞
