Staff eagerly waiting to serve!!! And the ambience is being in the rich history of HBCU!!!! Dont forget th
It was a wonderful and great experience for my first time to attend the national Pan Hellenic Counsel meeting at Murrell cafe. The food as always and forever will be outstanding. The fellowship, scholarship, and uplifting amongst the divine 9 was great. I have learned a lot. Great location and g
The service was poor. The food was spectacular. The location is really interesting.Inside a college cafe
I went here first and foremost for the historical value and secondly for the food. So, my expectations were tempered in that order. Staff is light but I think they may get busy on the weekend for brunch, because they have a huge main seating area and a cozy sized secondary are too. I tried a little
Absolute wonderful experience. Food was great. Service was awesome. For the longest I've searched for a good soul food spot that I can really enjoy on the West side of Atlanta. I'm glad my friends told me about this place. I just wish i worked closer in town because I'd be eating here for lunch seve
Great service and a truly hidden gym. Fresh fried chicken and fish was unlimited as well as rice and gravy, mac and cheese, collard greens and corn bread. There were a few more food choices but that's just what I had. If only the line of people waiting for a seat at another soul food restaurant rig
Amazing food. Stumbled across this place on accident...friendly welcoming staff & tasteful southern cuisine. Will def make this a staple stop in my visits to ATL. No complaints. Also, Yolanda was so warm & welcoming towards us from the minute we walked in. Love love loved it here.
Staff is great and the food is amazing. Love the fresh fried chicken and fish. Very casual even better to be here on Father's Day and not have to wait to be seated or to eat! Love it. We will definitely be back
What a pleasure it was to stumble across this hidden gem. Yolanda made this a great experience. Southern Hospitality at its finest. I ordered a waffle and omelette before seeing the cooked food. The baked chicken was juicy and well seasoned. Collard greens that I once hated were awesome! The candie
Wonderful place to eat. I am from MS so it is difficult to find some soul food that's better but this is amazing. The food is superb. It is in a hideaway area bit please don't judge the book by its cover. I was stuffed to the max. Please try.
Excellent food. You will eat way too much if you go toward the end of brunch and stay to eat dinner offerings from the buffet. That`s the best bargain at $26.95. Fresh hot fried fish and chicken delivered to your table is great. Service can be a little slow.
Soul Food and real Southern hospitality. Honestly, the service was old school "GREAT". For 14 dollars, it was a gem and worthy of a good cause. (It is located on a Interdenominational Campus) Speaking of campus, it was a bit challenging to navigate too, but Google Maps will get you there. So wh
We held my mother's 80th birthday celebration there on Sunday, October 18, 2015. I must say, your facility made it such a joyous and memorable event. The setting and staff was excellent and reasonably priced. The food was superb. I will be back and I will refer all of my friends and family to y
Murrell's Cafe was truly home for me. I am a vegan and I was not lost/without food or without what I needed to enjoy my moment here. This place is seriously Georgia's best kept secret so far, but that's about to change now that I know where they are.
The food was so rich and so good. It took me 3 days to eat. Portions were large. Staff very friendly. Not fancy but good food from a good cook I rate them top.
