Blu Cantina

This was interesting!!! Never been in a restaurant that was jumping so hard before! I actually thought we had walked into a hookah bar at first instead of a Mexican restaurant! 😆 We couldn’t quite carry on a conversation though due to the loud music so we decided to find another place for lunch but if I was looking for a spot to go out on a weekend, Blu Cantina would not disappoint! This was actually awesome, won’t forget it!

Food was good; but a bit too spicy. Music and atmosphere was also nice. I had a chicken burrito with the watermelon house margarita. The drink was really good. I actually wanted another drink. I didn't like that the waiter did not give me the check to see what all I owe for my food and drink. He just used a little card machine and told me it was $46 without seeing a breakdown for the cost of each item. My food plus paying for my friend food should have only came up to 30 something dollars. I know he probably which I hate when people do that because I like to tip what I feel like the waiter deserve and not them just put adding their own tip and all of these taxes such as liquor fee taxes. I also did not get a receipt after paying for my food. I would go back again because of the drink and food specials they have on Sundays and different nights throughout the week they have different events such as karaoke and good hookups. If I go back next time I will definitely ask for a printout to see the cost of everything before paying and I will definitely ask for a receipt next time.

This place was very lit on a Saturday night. I had to drive thru their parking lot 3 times to catch someone coming out to park. It was packed but was I able to order and eat at the bar. Everyone was dancing, yelling and singing while the basketball game was on so it was super hype. The food was just ok. The shrimp tacos didn’t have anything on them just shrimp. I guess they ran out of vegetables. The black beans were on top of the rice with cheese which was ok but I just didn’t expect that. They have hookah and drinks if you’re into that.

Thursday night, first time visit for our monthly family gathering. We had a ball! Reminds me of a one-way in and one way out juke joint. The atmosphere was awesome . We enjoyed the karaoke 🎤 😄. Our server Jayla was very friendly and attentive. The food and drinks were great and served as we ordered. We will be back!!! Try the peach bourbon wings. They also patio dining

This place definitely has mixed reviews however my experience was positive and honestly no complaints regarding the food or its quality. I ordered a shrimp taco salad and the best part obviously was the fried taco shell. It was both crispy and flaky just as I expected. The salad itself consisted of beans, lettuce, shrimp, half of an avocado, grilled peppers, pico, cheese, and sour cream. The portion received compared to cost is not compatible but oh well. The waitress was cool and the wait time to receive the food was normal. I went for lunch and it was pretty empty.
