I had never heard of this chain, BUT it was a wonderful experience to watch the employees roll the ice cream. It was a very interesting process.
There are only 15 locations in the United States and of course we don’t have one in MS. My friend lives in ATL and she had no idea it existed.
The base is a vanilla ice cream then you choose the mix-in(s) which I chose mango. They combine the vanilla base with mix-in(s) and after mixing, they spread into a thin layer then use a tool to make rolls.
The toppings are free but they don’t give you very much. We bought 2 with 1 mix-in each and the total was $17 so basically $8.50 per cup.
I highly recommend trying if you’ve never had it. As stated the locations are very limited.

Yummy! While visiting Atlanta, we were looking for an ice cream place for a cool treat after a hot afternoon at the Braves stadium and we ran into this place. We are so glad we did because we all loved the flavors we each picked. Definitely stop by and try this place if you haven't.

This was our first time here. We were skeptical, so our youngest son was our Guinea Pig.. needless to say, we will be back. It was excellent and very tasteful. He had the smores! I can't wait to come back and try my own concoction! Kudos to this establishment!

So good! They also offer ice cream with soy, almond milk, and vegan options. Plenty of parking and very friendly customer service. You choose your base (ice cream, soy, etc), the add on, and then the toppings. You can add as many toppings as you wish. So delicious!

My first experience with Sweet Charlie's the one in Ocean City, NJ I tried it on a work trip. Then I found out that there was one in Atlanta! I had a friend in town and she wanted ice cream so we decided on coming here. How it works is you pick your base; milk, nonfat yogurt or vegan(they use soy so I could not try this) then you decide if you want it in a cup or my favorite a tall charlie(a baked glazed donut) then you pick your flavor I went with Monkey see monkey do, my friend got Namaste and she got her in a cup. The topping you add at the end and they are free! The best part of this shop is the experience it provides. You watch them roll out your ice cream and mix in the flavor you picked. There is seating inside a couple stools outside for you to enjoy your creation.

Incredible customer service! Extremely patient with me and my 15 month old daughter who had never had rolled ice cream before. They have a VEGAN option and it is SO GOOD! I am currently writing this review from the parking lot having sent my husband in to get more rolled ice cream for us the very next night haha! IT IS REALLY GOOD! 5 stars all around! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

5 star,The customer service is great. The ice cream is made right in front of you and they write your name in chocolate/caramel. I went to get dessert from here numerous occasions and each visit was better than the last. The staff is very polite. Overall best dessert for a cool experience and delectable and delicious treat.

There a quite a number of Rolled Ice Cream shops in Atlanta, and this stands out among the top ones. The staff is friendly and the quality of ice creams is top notch (and unlimited free toppings). We love the variety and taste and will come back.

Love the ambiance of this place. Great bar, great atmosphere, and great staff. Fun place to meet up for drinks, a meal, or both. It's definitely a place you should check out on the square in Marietta.
