Perfect little neighborhood bodega if you need to grab a snack or a bottle of wine (they have a big selection). They also offer prepared foods and I am obsessed with their mac and cheese! They have some fresh produce as well so if you don't feel like going all the way to the grocery store, try the market. The parking lot is free but be aware that after school, the market is crowded!

Candler Park Market—specifically, Jesse and his crew—are AMAZING!!!! The market catered me and my husband’s wedding reception and the food was top notch. All night long, we had guests complementing the food. They kept refreshing the food throughout the party and made sure everything went smoothly. We took home so much food and are so happy with our experience. We will always recommend Jesse as a caterer. He and his crew truly went above and beyond.

A local institution with a good deli, a fine range of wine and beer (though sadly, the selection of Belgians has been markedly reduced), and a selection of grocery items that may not match a large grocery store, but still likely has everything you need. Convenient location with parking. The consistent stream of customers throughout the day and night tells says it all.

I love this place. It's a great neighborhood market that isn't over priced. They have the basics...some meat, pre-made meals, milk, beer, wine, chips, fruit, vegetables, and a great sandwich shop in the back. It's a good place to stop on the way to a party if you need to grab something quickly. They also have kombucha and most importantly, the staff are friendly and down to earth.

Amazing small market in Candler Park! We needed earplugs and they were just out, but they found some extra and gave it to us no charge. Definitely recommend stopping by to grab whatever you need. Fantastic customer service!

Great place, have been shopping there ever since it opened, am a 30-year resident of the adjoining neighborhood, Lake Claire. The food in the deli is excellent (burgers, unique sandwiches), the customer service is excellent. The only reason not to put 5 stars would be the high prices, making it a place to go for an emergency when you run out of something vs. a heavy shopping there, as would be true for many neighborhood shops. Ditto re the deli food --They have a great selection of deli salads and meals, just too overpriced (such as $10+ for a small container of pimento cheese or chicken salad). That said, it is consistently a place with excellent customer service, very helpful friendly folks, who recognize you and are helpful and familiar with their products. They are a great community neighbor, helping support neighborhood initiatives. And last BUT NOT LEAST, a FANTASTIC wine and beer selection that rivals wine stores!!! BTW, the review on this page that says "it used to be called Michael's supermarket but it was sold and it's nothing like it was before" is WRONG---that person was reviewing the wrong place.

Best neighborhood market in the city. They have an amazing sandwich bar as well. They have outdoor seating and all the kids from the neighborhood get treats inside and eat there. Great wine selection. Small but fresh selection of fruits and veggies. Update: we just got back to Atlanta last summer after being away for 3 years and we were pleased to find that Candler Market continues to slowly and steadily keep up its quality and diversity of items and services. The staff continue to be fantastic so management clearly is doing a great job. I love what they've done with the larger eating area with benches which is probably because they are so popular with their sandwiches and other items.

Cannot thank this place enough! I am from OOT an hour away and came to this adorable block for the wedding and piercing shops✨ Absolutely the best market for interesting red wines, amazing fresh coffee, amazing sandwiches (made to order) and unique alcoholic kombuchas ! We got supreme pizza ready to bake ! Some of the best pizzas we have ever had and we have had multiple kinds :-) my fiancé and I make our own pizza how we like and these CRUSH. Love this neighborhood market :-)

I've always loved the convenience and variety of Candler Park Market but even more so now as a parent of a tot. Being able to run in and get out unlike going to a major grocery store and parking in a massive parking lot reminds me of growing up in NYC. They have a great selection with many items coming from local farms and vendors. One star off because well it's just super expensive!

They've really spruced this place up in the past 15 years. I remember a very different market from my childhood! Now, it's a community gathering spot with fresh produce, homemade dog treats, and a refinished interior (gone is the full isle of hostess cupcakes, for better or worse). With the new interior come new prices. The outside could definitely use the same spruce.

We love the our local market. They have a fantastic wine selection and it's great for that last minute party or for great meats, cheeses and local produce. The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable and competitive. The cafe and sandwich shops located in the rear of the store has delicious made to order breakfast and lunch sandwiches. The continence and thoughtful selections throughout the grochery make this market one of the best in a great location with plenty of parking and bike accommodations.
