Review Radial Cafe - Atlanta

This is a great spot for people looking for vegitarian and vegan options. They have veggie sausage and spectacular buckwheat pancakes! Chocolate cake made without milk that is worth a try, and wonderful drinks using juices from a local business. I went twice while visiting town and will definitely go back just for this place! The people that work there are wonderful people and I felt like I made a few friends.

Awesome farm to table selections for those that prefer healthy, vegan or gluten-free plus options for those of us that will eat just about anything! :-) Excellent service. Highly recommend.

1rst time experience was a foggy but beautiful Monday morning before 10am.. Our server was new (and a cutie😏) the menu choices were simple, yet interesting enough to make you ask questions...I was craving a healthy and unusual breakfast and my wife just wanted to eat😂🤣😂 Btw: The bathroom was super clean and to me that is #SUPERDOPE

If you love Radial Cafe, you’ll feel right at home in this College Park extension of the popular Dekalb Avenue eatery. From the historic murals on the brick wall to the bright, lively bar, Frank and company have added all the right touches. This looks and feels like Radial, while also being something new and exciting enough to demand a MARTA trip south to investigate. Located just a two minute stroll from the College Park MARTA station, this will be the perfect place to greet friends arriving at the airport. Excellent, organic, location-aware dining ... a friendly vibe... and the usual attractive and attentive staff? Yes. Yes. Yes. Recommended. Now go, before I get your table.

Great second location, food was great as always, the owner is a great guy. The only downside was the service. Server seemed a bit rushed, kind of rude at times.. other than that great place

Delicious!! Went with the entire family for dinner. Fantastic cocktails and you've gotta try the bacon and eggs app. The space is great, the atmosphere is incredible and the food was amazing. Definitely our new go to spot, so excited to see that style of restaurant move into the neighborhood!

Gouda scramble for breakfast was outstanding. Friendly service at the bar.

Very cute atmosphere! We ordered the buckwheat pancakes and vegan hash. The pancakes had a vegan option by not using the honey butter, which we made sure to ask for the vegan option and she explained it would be a different butter. The food arrived timely, but the server messed up the butter option and it was already on the pancakes, which was disappointing. The food otherwise was great and it was refreshing to have vegan options on the menu- something other than "salad". In order to make this a 5 star place the wait staff would have to be a little more attentive. We had to signal for everything and weren't checked on by her in between. The man who appeared to be the owner was walking around visiting tables and was very friendly so it seemed it may have just been our server who was a little slow and inattentive. They served us complimentary fig and oat muffins before the meal right after sitting down (I believe it was fig and oat)... I am not sure they were vegan but we did try them and they were tasty. We would come back but make it exceptionally clear and repeat many times if there were diet restrictions.

We stopped in for Sunday brunch a few weeks ago. (I believe we were there the first weekend.) The food was outstanding. While the service may have been a little slow, we could see that the restaurant was very busy. The server (Ivy--I think) was very personable. We are looking forward to Radial offering dinner in a few weeks. I am grateful Radial chose to open a location in College Park. We will be back every chance we get.

I had a great experience. The food was really good. I had the hash with kale, butternut squash, peppers, potatoes and corned beef. My companion had Delia's chicken sausage, scrambled eggs and 2 huge pancakes. Lots of organic and vegan options. Reasonably priced. I can't wait to return!

I loved it! The decor was tasteful and inviting, the staff were warm and welcoming and the food was delicious... it was so good I took an after photo of my breakfast ...there wasn't time for a before! The owner was the icing on the cake... he visited every table and made sure everyone was happy I found him to be very charming and authentic. I was happy to spend my money there - great experience. Go early before the rush!

Very clean, friendly service. Our waiter (Carl i think was his name) was attentive but not overbearing and funny! The food was fresh, hot and super delish. Great selection of menu items. Loved that the food is local farm to table, organic and great vegan options. The ambiance is nice as well with awesome music. Will definitely become a regular here.

The food was excellent.. I had the gouda scrabble with chicken sausage and it was awesome.. My friends had the salmon scrabble and the hash breakfast and they enjoyed their meal as well... They really enjoyed the house made cinnabon in which they say was the best they have ever had. The Bellini drinks was nice and strong and delicious.. Waiters get lost at times when you need them but the waiters do cover down to help each other out.

Very cute cafe with food from local farms. They just started serving dinner and were fairly busy when we stopped in (recommended by locals) and only had two staff. This didn't slow them down. They were on top of their game. The customer service and food were great. I definitely recommend this place.

I had the shrimp and grits.....perfect!!! The sauce with andouille sausage and shrimp, mushrooms on top of a crunchy grit cake, wow. Not so good was the sauteed spinach, there was a chalky after taste. We had to remind them about our drinks which we did not get until after we got our entrees, but we did get some free cake and the service was polite and professional.

My spouse and I sat at the bar to enjoy Sunday brunch. It was a wonderful experience sitting next to neighbors I wouldn't usually get to chat with. The womon next to me even tried to convince me to try her beet salad, to no avail (I've never met a beet I liked). I had the gouda scramble and it was amazing. My spouse had sides of herb potatoes and bacon and enjoyed them very much. The best part of the meal, was the to die for espresso chocolate cake. It is, by far, the best chocolate cake I've had. The service was a bit unorganized on Sunday. The two folks behind the bar were not working well together and were not shy about voicing their displeasure with one another in front of the customers. Still early days for the restaurant, so they have some kinks left to work out, but I'm so happy they are in College Park and I can get a wonderful meal in a beautiful space without having to drive into Atlanta.

I am a true foodie so when something isn't cool I have to share. I just left Radial Cafe on main st. And because I've frequented their other location I was excited to visit the one in my neighborhood. When my dad and I arrived a lady yelled at us from behind the bar.. "you can sit anywhere" so we sat and sat and sat then 13 -15 min later our server came over with menus and told us how he was held up at a table. Being that both my dad and I are in the food business we understand how some days are busier than others and it might just be one of those days, although it wasnt crowded at all but definitely steady. So we order and we sat and sat and sat and 45minutes later after not one person including our server never came to the table to say anything, refill coffee or water.. we were packing up to go because now it has been an hour since we were there and hadn't eaten or been checked on. As we headed toward the door 3 people came running to our table with luke warm food. No apologies just put the food down explaining what it was. Since it was there we sat and ate the French toast was excellent everything else was so so. Buckwheat pancakes were cold/gummy risotto(rice) was pretty tasty but rushed and was more like rice, chicken sausage was obviously dropped in the fryer and cooked to death. So after we got our food the server asked us if we wanted to tell the manager what happened so I said sure. I'm not a complainer but this was kind of ridiculous and usually when I can express my disdain for something im good..No need for a discount or anything. So 10 minutes later when he brought back syrup that didn't come with the food he told us that the manager is on the grill and would be out. When we were done we asked for the check and before I could ask I was told the manager Frank isn't coming out somebody called out and he was busy. The server then said he was sorry and don't kill the messenger. We paid and left.Regretfully I won't be returning and hope that this was a fluke because I love the other location and the food there is awesome. FRANK come out and talk to your customers the place was no where near packed and a 2 minute convo could have retained 2 good customers and who knows what else.

Love this place and as a vegan I can find something on the menu that's vegan friendly as the staff is also helpful with insuring my meals are not prepared with meat or crossed contaminated with meat products when prepared.

We had a lovely brunch on Sunday and our bartender/server Jackie was awesome!! We have eaten at the other Radial location for dinner many times, but we have never experienced their brunch.I had the Radial Bagel and my husband had the Biscuits with Gravy. Both items were excellent, and I fell in love with the veggie sausage!! We will be back to try all of the many other choices that are available. My only complaint was that it was very warm in the restaurant on our visit. I realize it's the South and it's Summer, but I am hoping that is something that will be rectified in the future.

Had a great experience, food is top notch just like the Original Radial. Something the south side has needed for a while. Frank has turned this place into a gem.

The prompt professional service, food, and portion sizes were great. The price is very reasonable. I suggest you give it a try. I promise you won't regret it.
