We had a group order from JJs for about 35 people. We’ve been JJ’s fans since we first had it in 1990 in Champaign, IL. I absolutely LOVE that you can place a group order and it will send emails to everyone in the list to take their order. It even allows for someone to set it where one person pays or each pays their own, and if one person is paying, a max amount per person can be pre-set. Whoever thought this up is a genius!!! There are also many combinations for gluten free, low carb, vegetarian, etc. (though a veggie protein would be nice). I didn’t know about add-ons (cucumber, avocado spread, etc.) until now! We will definitely use it again for other board meetings.
The food was on time, the driver was courteous, the order was correct (except we had a couple chocolate chip cookies arrive instead of the oatmeal cookies that were ordered, but the people didn’t seem to remember what they’d ordered, so it wasn’t an issue).
There are a couple things that would have been helpful, but didn’t detract from the food otherwise serving our needs well.
First - the sandwiches came with partial email addresses written on them. That was great, except we had a group of 35 from around the country, all with different email formats, it was challenging. To boot, I think the person writing was getting tired as the letters started slurring on some and we had to guess. It would be great if there was a way to include a first/last/nick name (instead of email address) when ordering so we didn’t have to try to guess.
The other thing was everything came “loose” - by that, twenty bags of random chips, a dozen cookies, a sack o’ sandwiches, and a bunch of drinks (those were labeled with the contents!). But that meant going through and matching sandwiches and chips and cookies and drinks based on partial email addresses and a cryptic receipt. It would be great if the items were put into separate bags by order with a name - even the super thin plastic bags. It took two people nearly a half hour to get everything lined up. Thankfully, the food was ordered to arrive a half hour early; if it hadn’t, the scheduled lunch break could have been a disaster.
Overall, it worked out well and it is definitely something we will use for our biannual board meetings!!

Placed an order ($43.93) for co-workers & myself via DoorDash to be delivered to our place of employment. Received a message that order was taking longer than normal (OK), finally almost an hour later, received message that order was complete. ORDER WAS NEVER DELIVERED! I waited outside of our office for 10 minutes before calling the company; an employee answered & immediately put me on hold for 9 minutes before the call was disconnected. I called back & another employee answered & said they were busy & it's nothing they can do, I said how about not taking online orders if you are understaffed & he told me, it's too bad & I need to talk to someone else & hung up. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE & TOTAL INCOMPETENCE!

Ordered a sandwich for delivery at 12:42pm. Listed on the app as out for delivery 1:43pm. 2:10pm and notice the app no longer says out for delivery. Call this location at 2:12pm and they said just a few more minutes. I'm still waiting for that delivery now at 2:43 and the store isn't picking up the phone. EDIT: it showed up at 3:45pm.

Eat at Jimmy Johns constantly as I travel across the US. This has been the worst for experience after I’ve traveled all day. I’m .1 miles from the location at the home 2 suites. Took almost an hour to get my subs. I tracked the order and it said out for delivery half an hour ago. 10 minutes after checking tracking I was called and thought it was ready and was told they are baking bread and it’s gonna be longer. Freaky fast...more like powerfully slow and unconcerned. To the owner: you might want to make a secret order some time from a local hotel and see how that goes yourself. Ordered at 5:14 on your app, delivered at 6:05pm.

The website says they're open until 7pm. This week they have been closing @4 for some reason. I walked in @3:45 and they notified me they where closed. Lazy workers. I get being tired but there are plenty of jobs out here baby jimmy johns aint holding on to you LMFAO.

Customer service is lacking and certainly leaves something to be desired. I was on hold five times over two calls just to be told they don’t deliver to us (despite them being the closest Jimmy John’s and less than a mile away). When I brought this to the manager’s attention he didn’t seem to care. If you have the choice to order from another location do yourself a favor and order from there instead.

I have ordered from this location a couple times a week for the past year and a half. Until the last couple weeks Iv never had an issue. The staff and food were always amazing. Delivery was pretty quick and the staff really went above and beyond when it came to costumer service. That is until the last two weeks. The entire staff have changed and so have the food and service! I will not be ordering anymore!
